Four drops is correct - any large quantity would do very bad things up to and including cardiac arrest. Even with four drops, it gave him severe hiccups and he could still taste it days later.
I was going to get "The Source" at 7.5 million Scoville units if this didn't do the trick. Personally, I think anyone that would put this stuff anywhere near their body, much less in their mouths, is completely insane. I love the YouTube videos of the German kid that takes a spoonful of this stuff (Lyve1981).
It is hard to see on what you base your profound response - certainly not on your literary abilities. This version of Da Bomb called "The Final Answer" is rated at 1,500,000 Scoville units. The recipient, a dedicated chili head, put four drops on a chip (crisp, UK) and I can assure you the response was quite genuine. You could buy the same sauce from eBay for $19.95, try it yourself, and then, if you can still move, perhaps provide a more lucid review.
Most I've ever done of this stuff would be one good sized drop.
I have absolutely no desire to try any more than that.
