Much like when you are drifting off to sleep and your legs jerk. That is called a myclonic jerk and is your muscles getting rid of the excess oxygen. It isn't exactly the same, but easier to describe. Was she my fav. Yes. Do I think she deserved to win? No, but that faint was in no way phoney
She was my favorite person on the show, I didn't say that she was the best dancer. or that she should have won. I think she is great, but I am a dancer and instructor, so if I thought that she was the best, I would seriously have to think about giving up my carrer.

I know she didn't come up with the moves. My concern is that she could have refused to do those moves...but she didn't. Let me give you an example...maybe movie stars nowadays appear nude in movies and even simulate sex. Those movie stars can refuse to do the movie....but they don't. In order to advance their career and/or for financial gain, they do the scene. Generally speaking, someone with a strong moral character, would refuse to do the scene or choose another career.
I wouldn't mind this show nearly so much if they didn't include like, an hour long dissertation of the pairs before going on stage. I just want to see the dancing, dammit ;_;

It has nothing to do with her age, assh*les. That kind of dancing could take its toll on anyone who didn't stay hydrated or had any sort of health complications. My friends grandmother was hang-gliding at 70. So age is irrelevant.

Actually she's only given birth 3 times, and has adopted 5...not to take anything away from her. I was just making reference to what a great figure she has for a gal her age. I'd kill to look half as good!

Marie's looks,her performance,& 4 being her age I think she has proven that we can only get better as we age if we can work at it and obviously she has! Go Marie! We're watching, and you can stop dieting now! You look great! In my estimation, Marie, being an Osmond, and just being her, she will work as hard as she can when doing something. I don't feel she needs to improve anymore/she's FANTASTIC! With age, she is like fine wine! Smooth, with a little bite! Way To Go, Marie!

I didn't realize Maria was sucha whore. That type of dancing should be reserved for your husband and/or boyfriend. Well that's the entertainment business..reserved generally for whores, exhibitionists, and people with low self esteem.

I know she didn't come up with the moves. My concern is that she could have refused to do those moves...but she didn't. Let me give you an example...maybe movie stars nowadays appear nude in movies and even simulate sex. Those movie stars can refuse to do the movie....but they don't. In order to advance their career and/or for financial gain, they do the scene. Generally speaking, someone with a strong moral character, would refuse to do the scene or choose another career.

for anyone who has to deal with a person who has fainted--dont let them sit up or stand up very quickly after a faint. Can make the person have a stroke =( , at least thats what i was told in first aid class at college

It has nothing to do with her age, assh*les. That kind of dancing could take its toll on anyone who didn't stay hydrated or had any sort of health complications. My friends grandmother was hang-gliding at 70. So age is irrelevant.
