I never even heard of this story, then i stumbled across the movie on youtube. I loved it so much I just bought the book. Now all I need to do is read it.
The Halloween Tree is normally on TV on Halloween night in the UK. I look forward to it as it's a great film that really gets me into the Halloween spirit. I love Halloween and I wish I lived in a America because you lot take Halloween really seriously whilst here in the UK, we are sorta scared of Halloween. Great review, I wanna read the book now.
Sparkle Hayter "floats my boat" specifically 'Naked Brunch', i've never read The Halloween Tree, but i have the animated film on video, it's been one of my favourite films since i was a kid. I think i'm gonna pick up the book.
Great video! The Halloween Tree is a fantastic book and the animated special is a rare gem; a halloween classic that hasn't yet been released on DVD. I really wish they would release it in DVD format. Thanks for the video. Now that you got me thinking about the book, I don't think I can wait until Halloween to read it again.
Hi, sorry it took me five days to get back to you. I honesty don't know where you'd find the video now, I doubt it's available on DVD. I got it at Graywhale a number of years back. I'd suggest ebay or local pawn shops; you can sometimes find some real treasure there. Best of luck to you!
OHMYGOSH I live in Maple Ridge Canada... And i remember the movie...And i loved it soo much but it made me sad that they hardly ever show it on tv anymore-If they do at all.... But i was at Superstore and i was looking in the bargain bin of the elctronics and i found it for $2.44 so i bught it and i love it soo much...
I agree with you. "The Hallowee Tree" is a great book. It was the first Bradbury novel I read and I've been a fan of his work ever since. I just wish they'd re-release the animated special on dvd.

I love Bradbury, especially Something Wicked This Way Comes. I don't believe I've seen the Halloween Tree since it was made, though.
