  • This style of freestyle does not work for long distance. It works for 50 and 100 sprints as long as you have the endurance to keep it up.

  • i suposse you are refering to the straight arm recovery, i thinked the same too but it has and is used not only on sprint but in medium distances (check out Janet Evans) and even loooong distances (open water swimming)

  • This style doesn´t work at all. But luckily Nystrand changed technique to the better. But i agree if u mean the straight arm recovery.
