@steveorunner That is probably what a lot of the younger audiences want- but I know fans who had been watching the TV show since it was actually on want a theatrical movie to just continue from the original series with Michael Knight retired and now doing Devon Miles's position while a much younger man is the new driver of a brand new K.I.T.T.
@JLC31383 That would be good, as well. Don't get me wrong: I grew up with and love the original, I've just been very disappointed with the various remakes over the years, from KR 2000 to the recent NBC show. I would love to see a well-produced and well-written show or film that captured the heart, spirit and character of the original.
@steveorunner I think it is safe to say that at this point- they probably will just do a reboot of the series starting from scratch and having no connection to the TV show. David Hasselhoff would probably just make a cameo in the film. I saw the movie for "A-Team" and did not really care for it- I thought they were doing it all wrong since I have seen every single episode to that TV series just like 'Knight Rider". I sometimes wonder if they will even get the movie for this made.
Everytime I listen to this theme- I think of the very first time I was watching the pilot episode when Michael Knight was driving K.I.T.T. through the semi and stopped the plane from taking off.
would be nice if they give it to michael bay to make it happen.

@chevy5030 This song was used in the pilot- I do not recall it being used in any other episodes.

@Eddd00 I remember the song used in that one at the end was similiar- but it does not sound exactly like it does on this video.

I've often thought that "Knight of the Phoenix" would be an excellent story for a theatrical movie to modernize the franchise.

Nothing against Don Peake but I loved the first 13 episodes the best during the Stu Phillips era. The music was a huge part of the early days
