Dont you read Bleach Wikipedia? Kubo initially thought of using Rukia Kuchiki; However, he later changed to use Orihime as he thought Orihime was more suitable for such a role. It mean Ichigo and Rukia will never happen! I proof it to you.

This scene sorta freaked me out a bit though. Cus its not like they hang out or anything & all of a sudden BAM, theres her line. Ichigo wouldnt even have a clue. But with Rukia, theres so much going on between him and Rukia. Funyness, love, hate. And especially in Fade To Black, where Rukia falls against his chest...he catches her and they sit on the ground together, as he hugs her. Oh wow, and the desperation in his voice when he wants to save her Oh boy, thats way better than Ichigo and inoue.

I think she has. Standing up to Ulquiorra by slapping him.. Standing up to Yami (though she didn't beat him) expressing her feelings to Ichigo before she left, giving Ichigo his power up during the his fight with Grimm, when Yachiru was being targeted she ran toward her and she repelled Ichigo back with her sheild, she's healed basically everyone in the show.

I could go on. Rukia's list is not as large, but pretty important. I just don't like her character and how she hasn't changed since SS.

The second time was Zangetsu's high-speed regeneration.
