As a conservative, I think grayson is great. The guy is trying to audit the fed to save our country and hannity is talking about an earmark trying to discredit the guy?? I see you're unfamiliar with the "red tape" colloquialism. Government work means endless amounts of paperwork, and his point is that (due to Rep. Grayson's discovery) quite a bit of government paperwork routinely goes missing.

The point is, if you knew your Dr.'s office was going to lose all of your lab data (which might be important at a future date), wouldn't you find another Dr.? If a business has a bad reputation, you don't give them yours.

Government insurance + paperless system =

1. Govt stores medical information including social security numbers in a centralized set of servers, all subject to failure and security flaws.

2. North Korean agents (yes they actually do this now) hack into the system, launch DDoS attacks & cripple the system or use SSns and info to unload citizens' bank accounts.

BTW, how would destroying the paper trail make things MORE accountable and transparent, and how are harddrives more effective?
