I recently started learning how to read piano sheets and just messing around on my brothers keyboard.

I can't play stuff like this yet but it sounds preeeeety darn good, bud.

Dude! Sheets are hard to read. I still struggle with it. I made my own system to read them. Kind of like tabs. I just label the correct letter above the notes and read the letters instead. Then I match them with my hands. I use the black notes as guide lines where to place my hands. If the notes go high. I shift my hands right. If they go low. I shift my hands left. Don't do it like me though. You should learn it the right way so you'll pretty much be bad ass =D.

I know this is an old comment, but I read music the same exact way you do, my sheets are all marked up with the letters of the notes lol. Loved the sample, btw. =)
