  • Wat is this shit review?? U r honestly terrible

  • good vid, but you gotta read all the hyperion books to get it, theres 4 in all, you should check them out

  • wow ur cute and u read :)

  • Very nice review! check out my channel hope you enjoy I need some help to get started^^but you rock!!

  • nice to see you picking such good books to read. i am just starting Hyperion after reading the Terror. i love bradbury, crichton, orwell, martel, and goodkind too!

  • Why did you read another one of John Steinbeck books if you didn't like him anyway?

I am just wondering, I'm not defending him. I don't like him either.

  • P.S. "Of Mice and Men" is supposed to be about the American Dream which the two guys aim for fruitlessly. It's a much deeper novel than you believe it to be.

  • Steinbeck is brilliant, but you seem to have read only his short novels; try "Grapes of Wrath". Maybe we've got different tastes: I couldn't get on with "Dandelion Wine".

  • such a sweet guy:)

  • I just started reading "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck and Its not great... I have to agree with you on Steinbeck being a bit messed up....

  • It's pronounced "cri-ton", even though it is spelled Crichton.

The Andromeda Strain was reeeeeeaaaaally good. I liked Next, too (another of his). I haven't read the Jurassic Park book(s?), but the movies were good.

  • Its pronouned Cri-ton not crich-ton. I know its spelled that way but haven't you heard his name enough in the media to know that? hes only one of the more famous sci-fi authors. don't mean to be sarcastic but I was just surprised, thats all.

  • lol, I was about to point this out too.

  • I know, and I was kicking myself for this afterward... makes me feel like an ignorant fool. Maybe I am.

  • Ah, don't worry about it. We all make mistakes, eh? I thought the name Esther was pronounced like 'ess-the'. Haha. (:

I liked the video, by the way. Watching it has led me to decide to read The Life of Pi and 1984 once I've finished Pride and Prejudice. (: Thankies!

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Catcher in the Rye is another must read, if I didn't mention it in this video. I made this ages ago, after all.

  • I like The Catcher in the Rye, Life of Pi, The God of Small Things

  • i always thought it was pronounced chrIc-ton

  • it is really hard to understand you.

  • omg i fricken loooved life of pi

  • It's good that you're reading so much. Fewer and fewer people are reading these days.

  • So true.

  • I don't like you.

  • aww thanks for these book reviews, I'll check out all the one u said were good out.

the last book i read was " the perks of being a wallflower" i found that really good! one of the best i read haha and in that book you get reviews from the character about other books. if you haven't read it you should prob check it out!

  • aww thanks for these book reviews, I'll check out all the ones u said were good.

the last book i've read was " the perks of being a wallflower" i found that really good! one of the best I've read haha and in that book you get opinions from the character about other books. if you haven't read it, you should prob check it out! lol delete my first comment i made some wierd typos!

  • You only really understand Hyperion when you've read the sequel. The first book is like a book-length intro for the things to come in the next.

  • Dandelion WIne, Im reading it in my english class.

I am in love with it.

    Ray Bradbury is amazing.

    He writes amazing stories.

and people even thought he was crazy.

    But look at him noW!

  • Crichton is pronounced Cry-ton

  • I know... I was tired when I made this

  • yay for book reviews

    I like 1984 a lot

it's one of my favorite books

more people should read books lol

  • haha, "Steinbeck is still my least favorite author." Yeah I have to agree, I hate steinbeck.

Cusp sounds like a bad premise, but I haven't read it.

I'd like to read 1984, I've never got around to it yet.

I hate Crichton, I no longer read him, mostly because everything he writes reads like a movie script. And I have to say, I like Crichton movies, but not his books... I mean there is a reason I read books.

I didn't really get into Hyperion, the over theme seemed to meander.

  • The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton was a really cool book in my opinion. Prey is also a very good one.

Michael Crichton is my favorite author though.

But I haven't read 1984. I have heard that its great.

  • I LOVE the Transall Saga! That book was amazing! It's been a long time since I've read it, but I'll re-read it someday.

  • do one on the bood semper fi by clint willis. ive been wanting to read that book but i need someone to tell me if its worth reading

  • Grintoth, you look a like Joél van Noort , smart and good looking ;)

  • i'll have to keep 1984 in mind cause im reading hitchers guide to the glaxy for amercian litature and the scarlet letter for the same class so i dont want to forget somthing

  • have you ever read the Transall saga, by gary Paulson?? It's very good.

  • As I just replied to someone else, I absolutely loved the Transall Saga. It was incredible!

  • g2g i hate books

  • lol so true john steinbeck IS messed up. I read of mice and men and I have to read the pearl for school and even the teacher agrees that they suck.

  • i like teachers that are like that they dont just okay heres a book you need to read some of you may not like it but you have to bear with me etc. so boring

  • The Pearl is my 2nd least favorite book, right next to The Red Pony, also by Steinbeck. Steinbeck is my least favorite author. And yet, I'm making myself read The Grapes of Wrath.

  • were reading the scarlet letter its hear because the wording is a little diffrent tho dont approve banish im not shure about you but its hard for me

  • cusp sounds sweet

  • Yeah, it hurt my brain though.

  • was it long?

  • About 500 pages, with frustratingly small font, so yes, it was long.

  • hey, you need to read two old book series. The Warlock series by Christopher Stasheff and the Magic of Zanth Trilogy by Peirs Anthony. I Also suggest Split Infinity by Peirs Anthony also. I liked Hyperion but found it a little odd. but this is Evan from SBA and I hope that you read your comments!

    Cya PEET

  • Have you read the original Dracula (I know, random)? good reviews

  • im readin of mice and men latter this year(havnt finnished the video) dont know what its bout but John S was a good writer
