PS3 3D Gaming Made Possible by HDMI 1.4 (Explained)

ok so im getting an hd 3d projector that has 1.3 hdmi port, does anyone know if i need the 3dxl adaptor or 1.4hdmi or what to make it full 3d through my projector. or i dont need any of that. the projector is 3d ready. any help?

HOW TO RUN NATIVE 3D FROM PS3 AND NOT SIMULATED 3D, I THINK, THAT HDMI 1.3 DOESN'T WORK FOR 3D, BECAUSE IT WRITES NO 3D TV DETECTED. I HAVE KDL-37EX720. PLEASE HELP ANYONE !

The PS3 spec is 1.3 and cannot use any of the extra features offered by HDMI 1.4... There is absolutely no difference between 1.3 and 1.4 when used with a PS3 and ther PS3 can handle 3D fine using HDMI 1.3 :)

how do you tell if the HDMI cable you have is 1.3 or 1.4???

hdmi 1.3 can play 3d on a 3dtv via ps3 (with software update)

Wait can u use the HDMI 1.4 on a standard LCD HDTV ? And then u need 3D Glasses ? Will That Work?

why not just use half the frames for each image, that would make this new cable unnessary for the ps3
