  • cof cof e l chico de azul no acorto bien la caida ^^

  • in this video we can see perfectly how must not be this tecnique... pay attention to the 'giraffe' position of the legs during and after doing it... is really bad.

  • @sebaelmusico You do realize that he's a World Champion and Olympic medalist and tai otoshi was a tokui waza, right?

  • My senpai always sas you must turn your leg so, that your knee points to ground. This because if it fails and uke falls on your leg, it will crush your leg and knee expecially if opponent is heavy. If knee points to ground leg can safely bend.

  • @drandula That's actually a great tip, Tai Otoshi was my favorite technique the year I did Judo even if I never got it but I saw an accident with the leg the way you described and I got scare to keep doing it.

  • @Dudongo86

    No problem :)

I think the knee injuries are worst for judoka, because without good footplay, you cannot do good Tai Sabaki. It also effects in your mat technique.

  • @drandula Yeap, and if you think about it, the favorite techniques like Seoi or Uchi Mata can easily lead to leg injuries, that's why I always have prefer footsweeps.

  • @Dudongo86

    Haha, same here. :d
