  • Seriously, that's a thousand times better then Windows 7

  • Does it run on coal?

  • Don't worry if it's slow that thing is a dinosaur. how does it still work!

    c:\>dir/p

(text slides by, leaving a trail, typical of those old laptops)

    Nostalgia to the max

  • i used to have a laptop like that but a year or 2 newer and ya i got an old ibm with terminal keyboard

  • my mom had to use those in college to write her papers she said she had to type in a code or something like that to start it up and just to write her papers

  • yeah, just type edit new.txt, alt+f to bring down the file menu (if you don't have a mouse), save it, or print it.

  • Looks an awful lot like my Data General One.

  • cool reminds me of the laptop Scully has in the X files

  • omg, I have the chairs in the background

  • Holy Shit! That was a "laptop?!!"

  • I reckon the notebook keyboards back in those days are much better than what we have now, they just make you feel better for some reasons.

  • The keyboard was in the style of an old spring loaded keyboard, reminiscent of old IBM OS/360 Twinax terminal keyboards. I love this keyboard more so than the keyboard on my gateway laptop now, mainly because you know when you're typing on it since it sits so high above the rest of the computer.

  • @astrotech I'm glad you've said that. Keyboard these days seem to wear out very quickly, yet I have a few old machines that have been used just as much if not more and they aren't worn.

  • @astrotech i know right?

  • Has more power then a macbook air.

  • lol, gotta love a guy who takes a stab at those overpriced netbooks :-)

  • LOL so true!

  • I can't imagine running TES: arena on that! It looks completely monochrome!

  • Not really that slow of a boot up, especially on a floppy.

Is that a Zenith computer, or Leading Edge? (Looks like the old Leading Edge computer I have, 16MHz, somewhere around 2MB of RAM... 1993, it was about $2000-3000)

The logo looks like Zenith... case looks like Leading Edge.

  • Zenith

  • Damn it looks like a nintendo ds!

  • i know right.. that's where they got the idea... man those were the days. HA! :)
