I agree with you.. It must have ripped the poor guys heart out. I felt so sad i had tears in my eyes because he was begging them not to watch it, to watch him get emotionally knocked on his ass. It's happened to me before, when i really like a woman and i think i may have a chance and then it turns out she doesn't like me back. I love this entire scene but its just too bad that they didn't come up with this after the Season 3 episode where Ross and Rachel break up. I think this would have been the perfect way to get them back together because then Rachel would have realized how long Ross has always loved her.
