@waterflowing2 This DNTAS was made by the youtube users TioH (who was suspended just like LittleKuriboh was back then) and Dargonakis (who's still around but doesn't do any series these days). This was the most popular and had the most episodes of all the Death Note abridged that sparked up back in the day and since TioH got the banhammer along LK this is considered the original.

As for the funniest still-active death note abrdiged I recomend 1kidsentertainment. Look up their channel.

I've been trying to find this one Death Note abridged where he leaves the notebook and doesn't pick it up. Then, he notices it in his room, and says something along the lines of, "What are you doing here? Don't make me stab you with this pencil!!!!"

Keep in mind that this is from a time way back, when abridging had not yet settled into the stable concept it is now. This is the work of pioneers who embarked onto uncharted land of... ok now I'm just rambling. You get my point.

I'm only a fan that made a best of an ancient veteran abridged series that brightened my days long long time ago. I didn't make it, I'm only keeping the legacy.

Back in the day when making an abridged series was all new Death Note was one of the anime's (like bleach) that lots of people attempted to abridge. This DNTAS (by TioH) was one of the firsts, if not the first, out of those and it also was the only one that survived. (Since, unlike the others, it didn't suck.) After episode 5 this series then went on a long break, only starting again when a number of new DNTAS (the currently running ones) appeared due to Death Note's start on adult swim. Savvy?

Once they started again they continued for two more episodes but then stopped for good. This was just before the YGOTAS 2 year aniversary I think. There are currently 1 or two death note abridged's running that are now considered THE death note abridged but in the end this DNTAS is the "original".
