reminds me of my friends pet squirrel Tiny, i think it was that their cat killed the mom & so they took care of the baby aka Tiny. I've not seen him in about 3 yrs, but my god he was so cute! even when he was putting walnuts into my hair! still a cutie!

I had a squirrel that I raised from a baby too. Except he was even younger when we found him. He had barely any fur and his eyes weren't even open. He now lives happily in my parent's backyard. If you want to see him I've got vids too at my page (the one of him playing with my mom is kinda cute).

Yay! I had the same story, except with two squirrels. One of them still lives in my back yard and comes around to sit on my shoulder and eat. They're so affectionate, too, when they're young, and you can't beat having them running all over the place(except for the whole knawing everything in the house...)

I must admit what you said about them 'biting' rang a bell lol i.e. i was bitten by a squirrel a few years ago and my finger got badly infected and i was lucky the infection did not spread further than past my wrist. There nice, but at a distance lol and let them take the nuts from your palm not your fingers.

Then people would be trying to keep squirrels for their own and people are too stupid to realize that you can't keep them in cages and you have to have a LOT of knowledge on what to feed them and how to care for them. It's not like having a dog and being able to feed them whatever the fuck you want. They're very high maintenance and they belong in the wild.

hello..i freed my squirel named "skuiken" 2 weeks ago.. i feel so sad ..i miss him, but at the same time happy because he may find a girlfriend :)..

he is a very special squirel because since he was a baby, he never showed agression and he only bit in a gently-soft playing way..the first 2weeks i had it, he was in a big cage with a shoe box inside and he loved it, but then i notice that he was very peaceful squirel so i led him play all over my house

he never distroyed anything.. and since then, he was never again put in the cage.. he lived with my a year and free in my house and garden.. at the first months he was like exploring my house but the rest of the year he only rested on the outside top of the cage playing or sleeping.

i also have a petsquirrel ..i found it in my garden . i was waiting for its mom to look 4 him.. but she never came..so i feed him and take care of him.. its very sweet.. now is a grown up squirrel.. and someday ill free him back in my garden.. he is freely jumping and climbing all over my house.
