After finishing watching BBF/BOF series, I thought that it was the best. I never gave the Japanese version a chance till now. And you know what?...I WAS WRONG! By giving it a chance, I have discovered the truly best representation of the HYD manga. However, my respect and support toward the legendary Meteor Garden and BBF will remain.

With its ability to capture almost every viewer's heart, this is no doubt to be one of the greatest love stories ever written.

Really??? WoW...Thats a shocker! HYD is so good. I tried to watch BOF, but it didn't grab me enough like HYD did to even finish the series. It was too boring and the chemistry between characters was not there. The scene transitions/cinematography wasn't as nice either. I really enjoyed the music more in HYD also. I even downloaded the music. Some of the f4 my be better looking when you first compare the 2 but I feel in love with the J-F4 b/c they play their roles so much better.

Well.. If you really want to watch it in HD, you can download it from SARS fansub. I'm not a big fan of streaming media so I always just buy or download. Go to the SARS website and they have the whole series including the movie.. with english subs.^^ Hope that helps!!

HYD IS THE BEST!!! Compared to the other 2 versions, the acting and chemistry of the cast is WAY BETTER! MatsuJun is the best Domyouji and Mao is the best Makino! So is Shun, Abe-kun and Shota!!!! HYD is very appealing to the audience and the story doesn't drag on for so long. It's just excellent no matter what other people say! Hehehe

Hana yori dango (Japan) is FAR SUPERIOR than the korean drama BOF. Better acting, story and chemistry between the lead couple.

Hahaha!!!! It does suck. I really tried to give it a chance but I couldn't finish it. If it grabbed me the way HYD did, I would have finished the whole series in a day or two. I don't see what the big hype about BOF was. Okay, sure the f4 guys look hot. So what!..Looks doesn't make the show good. Its the actors that play the parts well and there is lack of chemistry between the k-version cast IMO. I couldn't feel any connection. It left me unsatisfied from the very begining unlike the J-version.
