Were the cup holders useful on the BM?

What were you thinking on the longest staight in Australia?

Did the wind dry your facial skin?

1. I found the cup holders more useful than the heated grips on the Nullabor crossing! I am now working to retrofit the Kato with cupholders and a pie-warmer...there's just no going back once you've tasted luxury.

2. Concentrating on 'bar turning procedure' for when bendy bits returned.

3. No problem - One pannier was full of Kati's skin care products - because we are worth it...

My pleasure! Australia is the perfect pace for Adventure Riding - the size of the US but with only 20 million people. Take a look at Edog200 for some of the other rides we have done - plenty of good fun and awesome locations!!

Did you ride the bike back again, or get it shipped over?

I hired it'. It was in Sydney at the right time and I got a good deal to take it back to Perth. I ride a KTM640, but it would have cost just as much to take it and ship it back....and I would have had a very unhappy pillion!
