Hobbs is a good player. He should go out on loan again next year though as we have Agger, Skrtel and Carragher, as well as Hyypia still on the books.
In a couple of years, once Hyypia retires and has become a defensive coach at the club, Hobbs should begin to get chances, with Carragher then ageing more.
