put your pinky on the highest string sometimes on that A minor. if you listen to the song you hear it as the high note that peaks out on that chord. dont overdo that tho, listen to the song for select times on when to do it
This is how I play it most of the times. He(dave) uses his pinky sometimes on the first string 3rd fret, but really I've gotten so comfortable playing the song that even when I'm wasted I can still play it again and again. It's a bit more comfortable with the pinky and the other finger on the 6th string.

If you're serious about acoustic, you should be looking into Taylor, Martin, or Larrivee. My personal preference out of manufactured guitars would be Taylor.

Try a Seagull S6 (with or without cutaway). Price is quite reasonnable and sound is very good.
Just lower the strings if you need.
