My dad works for e-on and he even said what was the point in knocking them down, he said it was the big bosses that would have decided it, not the staff who work for e-on
Good riddance to the towers. I'd have smashed them up with a sledgehammer. What an eyesore they were. I can't beleive all the morons who want to keep them.
because apparently E-on said they wer unsafe yet half of the north tower refused to come down which was great =) only three hours ago i witnessed an icon of sheffield being demolished right in front of my eyes, so sad =(
i dunno i heard that they want to build some kind of plant there a bio something i cant remember exactly, but yeah it is a shame that they destroyed them i mean for alot of ppl they are like sign posts so they know what junction to get off at for meadowhall or other places and for others like me when i was younger coming back from visiting my dad down south i knew i was nearly home and almost time to say good bye to my dad, its so sad that they are gone :(
Complete eye sore move with the times.
