Well technical skill is won definitely by wooten. But, as creating basslines and being a bassist for a band, geddy wipes the floor with wooten. Victor Wooten is the most talented bassist i've ever heard, but Geddy is better music writer (IMO).

Ok i've made some studying and learnt to read. Still - I'm surprised that this is the easiest thing You've seen Victor Wooten play. Because walking bass is an improvisation thus playing it simultaneously with chord top is pretty hard. Of course if you watch only fast solos than indeed this might be pretty "easy" :P

Color got nothing to do with talent and playability! He worked hard and it's funny that hardly anyone gives him the credit he deserves for just doing that...WORKING HARD! Many players, studied. They slept w/their axe. Literally and they strive to be better, THE BEST at their instrument. Victor is among those who saw the instrument differently. Look at Jaco. He made his bass "TALK" and he will always be remembered for that! :)
