Or can you use it with only a mic input and singing without chords?

@956miggz Yes, you can use the easy manual selection button of Scale & Key for singers without an instrument or horn players

I'm trading in my Boss VE-20 for this thing tomorrow. I hate how the boss doesn't let you control harmonies with a guitar or keyboard, and harmonies were the only feature I use on it.

I have a question, do you think it can be use with a bass guitar rather then a standard guitar ? would it pick up the progression aswell even thou you will only play the root notes ?

@Gargaroth1337 The Harmony-G XT doesn't support Bass Guitars unfortunately.
