@ipimpsatan77 The kit was around $500 back in 2009. If I had to do it again I'd buy everything in the kit except for the tubes, I had to replace them soon after the build. Other than that I've been happy with it.
@MrChemify I believe the kit works without corrections to the circuit. The problem comes when you THINK your build matches the circuit, getting it right is a matter of following every detail.
I'm "tack soldering" the components with minimum solder to hold them in place, later, when no more connections are to be made to the eyelet, I solder it completely filling the eyelet with solder.
damnnnnnnn. i'm literally sitting here struggling to figure out where to go with this exact same kit, and i come across this. i'll have to watch a handful of times and keep pausing, haha
so i couldn't tell by how fast you were soldering, but at what point did you solder the components on the turret board? it should be populated entirely before soldering anything?
how much did this kit cost if you dont mind me asking? ive been considering building one but cant believe at the price tag of some of the kits online

This kit can be assembled without the knowledge of circuitry? He is full, does not require modifications or corrections?

Nice video - very helpful to potential kit builders. Your video is being featured in Guitar Kit Builder online magazine.

Bitchen! This is my next project, too. I have to say, I think the sound effects might be my favorite part of this video. :-P

That was soooo bloody cool! And the end result looks awesome and I'm sure it sounds great too.
I'm planning to build my own 5e3 soon, using a Ceriatone kit. First time builder so this has given me a great overview of what to expect.
Great job!
