  • @mudezyful play a real sport cunt

  • @33Moonie33 laughing hard at you trying to suggest afl isnt a real sport, soft cock. ballet shoes are down aisle 4, might tickle your fancy a little more.

  • Wow all theses shots are shoulder charges on a player that's not even looking...

  • @33Moonie33 harden the fuck up

  • shit sport played by animals.

  • wtf that sport is pathetic... do those people have no respect for eachother?

Thats dangerous as hell do elbow some1 else in the face while running full speed.

Pretty sad if you ask me.. i could play like that also... never touch the ball but run around and smash everyone's noses

  • @2006seabass2006 Firstly there are rules in place to stop players just taking each other out, also the ball is everyone's goal

  • @2006seabass2006 anyone can go around being an fucking internet troll too, starting shit cause your lifes that pathetic and boring. fuck off and do something with your life and leave people that LOVE this game ALONE. And pretty sure you wouldnt even have the fitness to play a quarter of this game.

  • @zxkuta okay i admit it... i overexaggerated a bit. I'm just giving my opinion about the video/sport and you call me 'an internet troll'? My comment didn't have anything to do with people that LOVE the game, so wtf are you even talking about??? How can you say something like that when you know nothing about me? As a matter of fact i do play sports at national level. Now im curious how many more nonsense comments you can respond to this post

  • @2006seabass2006 to argue with you, would be feeding the troll. have a nice day m8

  • @2006seabass2006 You are a waste of electrical impules in an empty brain. With a dumb ass attitude like yours in an AFL game you would end up bleeding on the deck like these guys. Yes there are hard hits but its up to everyone on the ground to protect there mates. This concept I know is alien to you but in Australia there are still some of us that live by that code and honour it. Now dont be a dick and dont criticise our culture. There's a good moron.

  • @dyllo1 What do you know about respect and honor saying stuff like that to me? I was just stating that some of those hits are dangerous, that's all...

Btw, end up bleeding on the deck? and moron? Both of those are totally wrong about me, wish you knew me in real life so i could prove myself, but i play sports professionally, so im pretty sure i know more than you about stuff concerning sports. (with AFL being the exception maybe)

  • A lot of hate between the different codes of Football. When will people learn that football is just a term for any game played on foot with a ball (to distiguish from games played on horseback like Polo). The different codes, Australian Football, Association Football (Soccer) and Rugby Football were all in some sort of development before any were official sports so certainly didn't copy each other. They just came from the same roots of village football in England which had no rules at all.

  • @dashgar That's stupid so any sport that's played on Foot with a ball you should call Football. That pretty much covers every sport on Earth. So you should call Hockey Football & Basketball & Netball & Cricket & Baseball should be called Football.

Only Soccer & Australian Football should be allowed to call it Football. Because the main way of disposal is to Kick it.

  • That right there is a MAN sport!

  • I'm assuming body-checks and no-armed tackles are allowed? I always knew this sport was brutal but my word...

  • haha i love how if a player gets hit his team is quick to run over and start retaliating

  • Are any of these hits legal??

  • @mattymoffett Yeh, the majority of them. But the hard and high hits can result in suspension for a few games, depending on how bad they are, haha.

  • @colin4393 ? The hard hits can't as long its a legal tackle.

  • @mattymoffett Probably not :-)

It's legal as long as the head isn't taken.

  • @mattymoffett Almost all of them.

  • anyone who sais afl is soft or gay should watch this!

  • @Smoozeable no one sais that.

  • Australias game and the Worlds best game no arguments.

  • Ordering a dress this week so Adelaide United can sign me up.

  • EVERYBODY I NEED YOUR ATTENTION !!!!!!!

Ok , please , if your a collingwood fan please pray for them to win the grand final coz if they win I get to get a puppy and its colours will be black and white .

    Thank you .

  • @GLEElover133 Collingwood suck ass.. the only people that want collingwood to win the GF are collingwood supporters.

  • @cryingmushroom47 surely that goes without saying.

  • @cryingmushroom47 and the melbourn police

  • @cryingmushroom47 ya thats usualy how it goes.

  • awesome video

  • @Payka92 and dont forget in NFL they have helmets, shoulder pads and various other armors, AFL = 0 armor just pure toughness

  • @Payka92 AFL is basically nfl x10 with tackles or bumps (you can do both, this particular vid is just of the big bumps) but you're right, a full speed charge has more force than an engaging tackle, tackles are mainly used to stop the flow of the ball, a bump is used to injure the player (most of these bumps are quite acceptable according to AFL rules, they look even more nasty because the player isn't expecting it, that is why AFL is the most dangerous sport)

  • Lol @ how unskillful this sport is..

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 actually AFL takes the most skill out of any sport, you need 100% kicking accuracy, endurance, speed, agility perhaps you should watch a game before commenting

  • @metalguitarZomg2 Fuck off, I was a die hard AFL fan from 2005 to 2010.. I watched every game. Only until 2010 I realised how stupid the sport is & how much better real football is. Real football requires skill, AFL just requires effort. Fact. Also, how is kicking accuracy a skill? LOL.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 being able to kick straight is a skill, because if you miss you only get 1 point or zilch, so in order to win a game of AFL, you need to be able to kick straight regardless of wind resistance, rain, and you have to kick the ball before you're tackled of course, when you say "real football" you're not referring to soccer are you? my guess would be so judging by your name, if so all soccer is about is milking for penalties, dont believe me? look up soccer fake injuries

  • @metalguitarZomg2 You're so deluded & not worth arguing with. You're just jealous that real football is watched all over the world unlike this shit sport.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 im deluded? is that why your comeback sucked? this isn't much of an arguement because i've already kicked your ass, get the fuck out of here with your faggot soccer bullshit, its not even worthy of being called football because its played by people who cant take a tackle, fucking weakling

  • @metalguitarZomg2 1. 'Soccer' was called football long before this bogan-fucked sport. 2. AFL is unknown to the rest of the world. 3. 'Bumping into people' isn't a skill. 4. GTFO and get drunk and bash up women like all of you AFL cunts do.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 1. You're only mad because you know i'm right, even though soccer may have been called football first, it got changed because rugby and AFL were more worthy of being called "Football" than your faggot-based sport. 2. i dont give a fuck 3. its not just bumping, its tackling and yes it is a skill because you have to anticipate the kind of dodge or step the other player is going to do and 4. Your soccer players get beaten up by women, so get the fuck out of here faggot.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 also, the main reason why the rest of the world don't have an AFL team is because they know they'd get the shit beaten through them if they vs'd us in a full contact sport like AFL, as we have been playing it since 1940 or so

  • @metalguitarZomg2 LOLOLOL, no, they don't have AFL because nobody likes it. The sport is an ugly sight for any half-brained person outside of this bogan country. Take it from me, I've been to Europe/Asia and when I mentioned Australian rules they either say "what's that?" or "that sport is stupid." etc etc. Also, the sport originated in 1858 and has never left the country properly.. What a joke of a sport.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 how about you actually try playing a season of AFL for a club and see if your wussy ass can handle it, as for the "whats that?" thats because they're ignorant and don't know anything outside their own country, and as for "that sport is stupid" is usually followed up with "i don't understand it" and thats because they don't bother to learn the rules or positions, you aren't allowed to tackle above the neck or below the knee's, and you're not allowed to take them out in air

  • @metalguitarZomg2 I played footy for 5-6 years and quit at the start of the year. The sport is a pointless waste of time.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 No playing for 90 minutes for a Nill all Draw is a wast of time.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 mate european ass suckers like you have to understand that europeans just invaded anywhere filled with truely civilised black people and made them conform to there society like a disease. and in that conformity comes faggot sports. also afl is an up yours to all you wankers

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 The reason Australian Football hasn't left the country much is because where on a Island. The reason Soccer is so big, is because when power hungry Britain invaded & colonised other countries they bought the game with them. & the game was able to go across borders, you can't do that in Australia because we live in a Island.

  • @AdelaideUnitedFC2011 Within a 50 year Australian Football will be the 2nd biggest sport in the world & Soccer will be number 1. Not because its better, but because its already very popular.

But its not better Australian Football shits on Soccer, its the best game in the world.

  • Are they allowed to take people out by elbowing them in the head?? Aren't they supposed to tackle like in Rugby

  • @StephenAlexWalker nahh you aren't meant to take people out by elbowing them in the head, but u can take them out by ramming your elbow/shoulder into them, as long as you don't really make contact with there head, anything below the shoulders is legit, unlike rugby where you have to tackle.

  • rugby player look lile pussys beside these guys !

  • Stupid sport, the human body is not made for contact like this...

  • lol just watch AFL big hits then watch Rugby union or NRL big hits.....this shit is all pussy and correct me if i am wrong but most of these are illegal?

  • @Payka92

Your guys bang shoulders, our guys actually engage...

  • anyone who says afl is soft should go out there and get bumped by a 100kg man at full force... then we'll ask who's soft

  • wow 2 years worth of hits ppffftt soft

  • Most of these are illegal but

  • HAWTHORN!!!!!!!!!

  • and they all get banned.. nice sport faggots

sport i was only kidding about that....

  • 45 people must play soccer

  • All this shit about whose sport is manlier or tougher is total bullshit. I play rugby because I like the sport, not because I think it's tougher than girdiron or aussie rules. I don't ENJOY getting hit with no padding, but I put up with it because it's allowed in the rules. If you want big painful hits join the fucking UFC okay? A big hit is a big hit and it deserves respect no matter what sport its from.

  • DUMPERT

  • DUMPERT

  • DUMPERT

  • lol @1:03 the Uhhlllhhh is very very well timed lol

  • well... dumpert, I guess.

  • Looks to me like some of those moves were illegal.

  • I like it, awesome sport!

  • i gues this is not legal ???? if it is than its like the craziest sport evar

  • Umm... It's probably just me who thinks this:

Why would you even want to play this? o.O

  • where is the beauty in this?

  • i don't understand how this could be any fun at all?! I mean i would get a serious headache by only ONE bash. Let alone what would happen in a whole match! O.o

  • Isn't The AFL the Arena Football League?

  • @MrChuckTaylors

    Australian Football League smartass.

  • @Torcida12Rotterdam Alright Well I Was Serious Smart Ass

  • Gotta love afl :) And people call it weak Pfft please watch this and say that! And not to mention nearly all those hits were legal! :D

  • thumbs up that football is AFL not soccer or rugby :)

  • Troy Cook was so ladsy it took a lot to get him down, and he did for the team rather than a personal love of violence like you see some of the players doing.

  • OUCH!!!!

  • Hahaha leaguies getting worked up, AFL players don't throw fists and beat the shit out of each other because they know they are going to cop time off. There is a reason people call League 'Thugby League', a shit sport that is a disgrace to Australia, thank god we won't have to put up with it in 30 years!

  • best mark ever taken /watch?v=WCUjMwPoslA

  • most of these look like cheap shots and blind shots.. and elbows even...its still cool but.. low as hell..

  • I think its clear from this video that Fremantle are fucking pussys, alway 5 on 1

  • no wonder why this sport has no brains. their brains have been pounded into mush from knocks like these.

  • soft. Seen harder action in lawn bowls

  • fuck troy cook was a tough nut. 2:20

  • bj373 myyy badddd haha

  • i love from 1.29 to 1.34 he takes the bump and straight back on his feet and goes after the footy!

and people think this game is soft???????

  • 0.55 lol he says Hitlers gone topless thumbs up :D:D:D

  • @howell151 lmao dude he said 'headland's got coughlan'

  • My Kingdom for an AFL video without music.

  • Please help this Yankee . Are these hits legal?

  • @MrBlackmamba89 In some cases, if his arm is like a chicken wing than yes

  • @MrBlackmamba89

a hit is deemed illegal if it is either head high or has nothing to do with defending/attacking the ball carrier

here are the hits that weren't legal:

0:44 (ran past the ball to hit the player)

    1:21 (off the ball)

1:31 probably should have been, but wasn't called

2:04 (player got rid of ball, then was hit)

    the rest were legit

  • @SteveyKoz Thanks bro. I so want to play this sport now.

  • @oJKBo etymology is the study of the origins of words, it does not define there meaning within an evolving society. there is no conclusive evidence for the hypothesis regarding the origins of the word football. the first time it appeared in the oxford dictionary it was talking about football or soccer. so by your own ignorance you have built an argument on a fact that in itself isn't proven to be true.

  • its origins have been dated back to china in the 3rd century BC, now who is the uneducated bogan? haha

  • @bp12350 who gives a crapola. fuk off

  • @smegmatrap bust your face cunt

  • @bp12350 ill fuk u in ur mouth cunt.

  • @smegmatrap i fucked your mum in the mouth and the cunt you retarded spat

  • @bp12350 sir, you and melbknights should get together for some bum sex. You 2 have been crapping on here for months. Why dont you just exhange numbers, catch up and debate over what ever gay ass shit u want instead of defaming this page sir with ur crapola comments. Good day Fag!

  • @smegmatrap

I have to say. that is the classiest way to call out someone on youtube. Goodjob. but its all about the Hawthorn Hawks.

  • FUCKIN SHIT SPORT PLAYED BY FUCKIN BITCHES AND SUPPORTED BY FUCKIN BOGANS!!!!! THEY SHOULD BROADCAST THIS ON THE COMEDY CHANNEL!!!! FUCKING GAY!!!!

  • @infamous00275 THEY SHOULD SHOW YOU IN THE GAY CATEGORY ON REDTUBE CAUSE YOU ONE GAY SON OF A BITCH!!!

  • @infamous00275 I always laugh when rugby people call AFL gay. When I watch a Rugby match, all I can ever see is men sniffing other mens' arses. I don't know about you, but sniffing arses is pretty FUCKING GAY!!!!

  • love the slowmo

  • rubbish game........uk football best in the world closely followed by rugby

  • I hope you AFL bogans saw the survey that was released today. 12% of the people surveyed thought AFL players are great role models for Australian kids while Football, or as you bogans call it "soccer", topped the list with 30% of the people surveyed believing they are the best role models for Australian kids. Enjoy your bogan sport that is only played and followed in Australia LOL

  • @MelbKnights its because you queers play a gay sport where they fake pre much everything and the only coverage you get of it in Australia are from the international leagues. that is why they are role models in Australia! proud now? BOGAN HAHHAAH

  • @bp12350 Geez, that's a great come back! LOL In 150 years of "Aussie Rules" existence it's still only played and followed in Australia... and not in every state. Footballers are queers?? Mate, you don't see football players taking photos of each others knobs like those St. Kilda players! The AFL is a refuge for drug addicts, drug dealers, rapists, pub brawlers, bogans... list goes on. Does a week go by where AFL players don't cause trouble?

  • @MelbKnights football or soccer has more scandals like the ones your talking about at its top levels around the world. there is a small group of AFL players that do stupid things that give the sport a bad name.. so don't stereotype all players in the same group. and soccer has been around for over 2000 years so of course it is going to have had a greater presence within the world.

  • @bp12350 Soccer has existed over 2000 years? Where the hell did you get that from?

  • @MelbKnights Falling over a light touch and crying like a bitch for a free kick is seen to good behavior from role models?

  • @daw0005 Definitely better than raping 16 year olds, urinating in a bar, bashing people in pubs, elbowing other players, dealing drugs, taking drugs... oh boy the list goes on :)

  • i agree its like the most fun sport, what other game do you have that you can die from.

  • Anyone who thinks gridiron is a tougher sport than aussie rules is a total retard. The hits are so much bigger in AFL and they don't cover them self's in 10 layers of padding and helmets.

  • @SMDavo

Yeah but our players are ridiculusly larger and conditioned for quick violent hits...they wear that padding and helmets because it's neccessary when that much force is involved. And it's called Football, not Gridiron. Granted Aussie Rules looks insane

  • @SMDavo Anyone who thinks any other type of football is tougher than AFL are total fucking dropkicks.

  • AFL is the most attended game in the world. I would hardly call it a dead sport.

  • @Cyb3rpus dont know about that mate, soccer gets a few million more supporters to their games per day than AFL. dont get me wrong aussy rules is the best, but isn't quiet as huge as you think.

  • @strokeseat1

AFL is easily the highest sport when you factor in that there's only ~22 million aussies, compared to ~307 million in the States and 51 million in England. A quick search "List of sports attendance figures" on wiki will tell you this.

  • @Cyb3rpus Where did you get that ridiculous stat from? I actually laughed.

There's only one football, and that's the game where they use their feet, soccer. Aussie Rules changes their rules each year, it's ridiculous.

As for hard hits. Yes this video contains hard hits. But look how poor the footy fights are, it's all shirt pulling. The tribunal system is shit. Bring in the cards system and the game will get a lot tougher (or as tough as people seem to 'think' it is already).

    Rugby is tougher

  • best sport int he world.....great video

  • Here's a test for any challengers. In NRL round 1 I'll make a compilation of the biggest hits and tackles. I'll make it about 5 minutes long with say 20 of the biggest.

And I challenge any Victard to make an AFL equivelant from 1 round of football.

I don't think you can do it. Infact without years of carefully picked out footage I think your AFL hits would be paramount to soccer faggotry.

  • What aload of gay. Nothing but dog shots and elbows.

It reminds me of soccer fans who make videos of soccer players getting ninja kicked in the face and try to pass it off as a tough sport.

I've never seen a big hit or 'bump' in an AFL game. Only on Youtube videos

  • There seems 2 b so many NFL and rugby trolls these days all over AFL videos. Is it because you homos dont have lives 2 live or just jealous Ozzy rules is the greatest sport in the world! To the Rugby trolls your game is a dying breed so eat a dick and jump on an AFL team haha and to u Americans ur game is fukin SO BORING and gay! guys where padding and tight pants and boast around like clowns when scoring a touchdown seriously if you dont like AFL then y r u watchin this!

    Jealousy is a curse :-)

  • @TheSavoy06 Rugby is one of the biggest sports in the world. Nobody knows what AFL is outside of Australia. I came here looking for Arena Football.

    Like most people.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns looking at ur profile it just stinks of rugby league and u make up an excuse of searching "arena football" Now you are lying about trolling haha!! Thats just sad..

Once again the trolls are all over this video

  • @TheSavoy06 Trolling but I'm right. None of you can take up my challenge, because you know big AFL hits are like a solar eclipse. They're rather rare.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns Troll Troll fucking Troll, i dont really care what sport goes on outside of Oz but i know your football code is dying out and AFL is taking over so quickly it makes me smile that th small percentage of the league supporters left try and defend their dying game!! I suppose thats what happens when a beast is backed into a corner, the only way to deal with it is to fight its way out!!

  • @TheSavoy06 Really. TV ratings say otherwise. The AFL is a non sport. Outside of Australia nobody knows it.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns whatever you reckon dickhead, you wouldnt last 5 minutes in the AFL , or auskick for that matter, troll.

  • aussie boy is a wanker and by the way england hate afl i lived there they think it is soft

  • afl = shit sport

  • @kaka50745 You must be a soccer fan..bunch of overpaid actors. Pussies in boots

  • 0:45 Brodie Holland. He got away with it too!!!!!

  • @MelbKnights And just so you dont think im shittin ya

    /watch?v=RNTlG-72S60

Highlights of International AFL Football featuring countries such as New Zealand, Samoa, Ireland, Japan, Nauru, Great Britain, Spain, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Canada and the USA.

Pretty sure there are more countries playing AFL than NFL.

"Having said that, after 150 years of existence it's still only played and followed in Australia?"

Get a bit of Sport Knowledge into ya...

  • UFC is a comp for MMA fighters and MMA is a sport dumbass

  • The UFC of sport!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Crapiest sport man has created! Nice to see AFL players in the news for all the wrong reasons :) Faggots in a "mans game" taking photos of each other in Miami HAHAHAHA Either that or going around rooting 16 yr olds LOL!!!

  • @MelbKnights just to saints mate

  • @2009premiers What are you on about dude "just to saints mate"? Remember Gary Ablett senior screwing a 16 yr old a few years ago, drugged her to death and only gets a slap on the wrist $800 fine.

  • @MelbKnights Actually she was 19, and they were both as high as a kite.

  • @deadfish009 Old fart screwing a girl younger than his son and drugging a girl to death. Great role model!

  • @MelbKnights So what your saying is he took illegal drugs... Pretty sure you could find the same case in any sport mate! Not sure what your trying to prove exactly. Gary Jnr would have been 16 at the time so thats not quite right either.

Good to see you are at least a melb knights supporter. Go watch the 1996 GF highlights and be happy.

  • @deadfish009 Mate, just watch the news. It doesn't take long for AFL players to make the headlines. The code is full of thugs, drug abuses, drug dealers, pub brawlers, rapists, old grown men rooting teenagers and God knows what else. Your lucky the media are pro-AFL and that's why it's the most supported (not played) in Australia. Having said that, after 150 years of existence it's still only played and followed in Australia.

  • @MelbKnights On the whole i think they are pretty good.

Australia is pretty insignificant on the world stage, and its hard to push a game overseas when we are such a long way away and we don't have the money to finance international expansion. Hell, the NFL is huge but hardly played outside the US. I would think the bigger issue is the northern states not giving a shit about AFL more then anything.

  • @MelbKnights I dont know what your talking about mate... NFL is a huge game in the states and started off in 1920 so a good 90 years now and they still only play the game in the US!

AFL is played in more countries than NFL.

419,000 people own foxtel with 20 40 percent of them owning sport channels. And around 10% actually watch the NFL

1.4 Million US viewers subscribed to omnisport.tv just to watch the AFL.

    And thats just Americans.

    Get your shit straight mate.

  • @AussieLoverBoy Mate, there is no AFL competition in countries outside Australia. The only comps played are ex-pats playing AFL in England, The US, Ireland etc. So your saying 1.4 mil subscribed to omnisport just to watch the AFL? LOL! OK, you have been to each and every one of those households and they told you they subscribed to omnisport just because of the AFL. You want to know what facts are mate? Almost 1 billion watched the World Cup 2010. That's right - 1 billion.

  • brodie hollands the biggest rat lol

  • AFL sucks worst sport ever

  • @kirbypier999 Couldn't agree with you more

  • @kirbypier999 why are you looking at this then

  • soft as

  • Also you should have showed Gia and Kosi in full speed that cracked Kosi's skull. They were both out after that one.

  • first hit was on my cousin :|

  • abletts hit on wirrpunda was incredible

  • this kinda looks like american football with no pads...
