When you announced cheaterman 2 I nearly screamed at my PC. My choise would be double dragon 2. I spent hours upon hours playing it and probly had a few more neibourhood "friends" due too it's awesome two player mode.

My jaw dropped when you joked about CHEETAH MEN II, being number 1! But about the REAL "#1"... not so much. I think the combat is really shallow in TMNT 2, and I hated it.

Technically, Super Mario Bros. 2 was just an edit of Doki Doki Panic for America, to make a long story short.

Anyway, I could agree pretty well with these choices, even never having played most of them. The #1 choice was amazing. (Both of them. :P)

Poor Castlevania II gets no respect. :( I really liked that game, and to this day consider it one of the best NES titles. Never understood all the hate it gets. Yeah, it's cryptic and needs to be played with a guide if you're not familiar with its secrets... but the same can be said for a LOT of games from that era!

Still, great list, and your videos are always really entertaining, Rinry. Plus, you have one of those voices that just makes me happy whenever I hear it. ;)

@ThePcTrickster And I don't see why anyone would think that the top spin sycks just because it's silly. It can be used to one-shot the monkies in Harman's stage, the turtles in Wily fortress one, Shadowman and Dr. Wily.

The shadow blade also was cool because it was kinda like the metal blade, but it wasn't broken as heck!

The only weapon that really sucked was the spark shot, the rest were cool and unique.

Oh yeah, and the rush items and slide. HOW COULD ANYONE LIKE MM2 better?

In MM2 the flash stopper didn't even freeze some enemies and left you defensleless (MM4 fixed that)

Plus, the heat flame took far beyond way too much energy, who even used it?

The crash bombs are only useful on things that don't move, so only blocks and ONE boss.

Plus it doesn't even has the slide or Rush! Thank god MM3 added both, as well as Protoman, the best MM character ever.

I used to play Double Dragon II on an arcade machine at a local pizza shop as a kid. My friends and I would just pour quarters into it and play like mad.

Though I do prefer the first TMNT, though they're completely different games.
