i have one of theys but when i plug it into a computer relays 23 stay on and the rest ant controlerble any ideas on whats happerning?? thanks p.s i have tryed it on more than one computer same thing
if you are using vixen for your control software, you will need to use the 12 port parallel plug-in...download it free at vixenlights(.)com. copy the plug-in to the "Plugins" folder in your vixen directory. in your profile, set up two 12 port plug-ins and make sure the addressed are correct. Confirm in Device Manager. you also need to assign the channels on your profile. 1-12 for the first plug-in and 13-24 on the second plug-in. Visit wapaduwart(.)webs(.)com to download 24 channel examples
Hi I do not have step by step instructions but there are tutorials available at the "instructable" website and in the wiki at "vixenlights" website. Also a google search for "parallel port light controller" will get you links to other informative website. These are the resources that I used and they are all very helpful.
