Tom Hennessey, one of Dick's old teammates on the St. Louis Budweiser team with Don Carter and Ray Bluth from the pre-PBA days, used to call Dick 'Golden Arm', and as one of Dick's St. Louis proteges Nelson Burton, Jr. would sometimes say, direction is 90% of the sport :)
