when i put my ipod on the receiver its not that clear, but i used my voltage metre to check the RCA AUDIO OUT on the back and it does have output, so i cud put my car amp on it, or if i get a new powered sub with RCA inputs..the sub now is 8" w/ a 45w amp, it suxxx!!

i think yours is the YHT-380, cos is doesn't have the DVD player, looks like your are using an existing DVD player from another brand.
