@isabellaacereto Actually, folks buy old 80's music a lot--been doing so because of iTunes/Pandora/Napster/etc. So, no, Glee hasn't really helped increase sales of a lot of these 80's songs--unless they are so obscure and forgotten, hearing it on Glee actually sparked some 'memory cell', and made people remember it.
That said, I like Glee--but I'd like to see Glee create/sing some original stuff of their own. I don't think it's against protocol for a glee club to do that.

I love Glee but I can't stand arguments over whether they're better than the originals. Barely any covers of any songs are better than the original. I like the glee version of this song but the Go-Gos will always be better.

Fast Times. I was really young when it was out and barely remember it. I like the song. I did not hear it on Glee as I don't watch it every week but I like many of the songs they have on there.

@isabellaacereto Actually, folks buy old 80's music a lot--been doing so because of iTunes/Pandora/Napster/etc. So, no, Glee hasn't really helped increase sales of a lot of these 80's songs--unless they are so obscure and forgotten, hearing it on Glee actually sparked some 'memory cell', and made people remember it.
That said, I like Glee--but I'd like to see Glee create/sing some original stuff of their own. I don't think it's against protocol for a glee club to do that.
