Why is there red jam on the screen when you're low on health? Does the blood loss cause your character to stumble and spill his/her collection of assorted jams?

Why would the character be carrying jam into a fight against the spawn of hell in the first place? I guess it's for added realism to appeal to the small group of people who actually do carry small containers of jam around with them, like my grandmother.

@7596crain Easy there cowpoke. Whoever said you have to use crossbows? The class description says right on their website that they are proficient with bows as well. The skill calculator shows none of thier abilites having to use crossbows only...so chill.

Her knife spin does like 3 damage compared to 15 - 25 on the other skills, yet she still always goes into the middle of the monsters (as a bow character...) and spams the knives.

I think ill pass on DiabloIII, i remember playing Diablo back in 1997 and it was one of the most amazing experiences, this feels like Diablo1 without the horror element, nothing has improved in 14 years too bad.

Bethesda is supreme in this issue, they just support Modding... where in Diablo Blizzard just hate the whole idea, but i am sure there will still be mods, but Blizzard just try its best to ban them.

And MODS its what keeps ALL GAMES going for the ages, Ask Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights etc, no win for Diablo3.

I've never heard of that Skyrim you talked about, and after checking the graphics looks very generic. I see no difference to Rift, Lineage 2, Disciples 2. It all looks the same. And you have to be joking about lack of horror in D3, all that crawling zombies out of darkness is something nice. And it's just a begining. And if I'd be more concerned about char customisation I'd play the sims.

Looks like world of warcraft graphics except bloodier, a darker color palette, and better physics. It's 2011, why does a game from one of the top tier game companies looks this bad? Great art direction, but the textures are muddy and flat. The lighting isn't sharp, and nothing seems crisp. Looks exactly like the WoW engine except modified just a tad. I'm sure the gameplay and everything besides the graphics will be stellar, but Blizzard could have done so much better with their graphics engine.

@DarkKaichi It actually looks much better than the first movie we saw which had super bulky characters and WoW like armors&weapons, YET... i rather play Skyrim hundrerds times more than Diabloiii, because i can create my own character appearance&abilities, huge world to explore in third/first person view in Skyrim. they also took away all the horror element in D3, makes me laugh at its repetitive&isometric view, thats so lame, they tried to use same formula 14years later. My money goes to Skyrim
