I managed to solo it on my shadow priest too though it was pain to get past trash. What was your strategy for dealing with those 4-5 mob trash packs? Did you use mind control? If so, which mob did you MC?

Just nuked em, kited if nessecary. MgT is huge so there's plenty of space to pull, run back, and fear off any troublesome mobs. I can't remember what it was but I had a specific kill order as some mobs still hurt/where annoying while some others where relatively harmless. It's all about trial and error. I never used MC once while in there.

That'd depress me, really. SHalls was my alltime favourite Outlands Heroic pre-nerf back when it hit people like a truck full of explosives but now it's just not as fun. Sad reality is that certain heroics can't be solo'd by a ShadowPriest, SHalls is one of them :/

Can't say for sure but I doubt it - Bosses in general are immune to some totem effects like slow, for kiting, and SPriests can run away while letting mobs/bosses just melt from DoT's - Shaman have to do a lot of longcasting but they do have more burst. I can't say for sure, but I wager it'd be a lot more difficult for an Ele than a SPriest, especially the PvP type 3rd Boss where SPriests have a lot of escape tools and survivability help.

Good job. Today I also tried to do this on my priest, but I found it impossible to do Delrissa, while she has shaman, rogue and warrior with her..

There's two ways to do it - You can either kill each while fleeing (Preferably with a PvP spec, I did that on my first solo, ended up killing them while running all the way back to the 1st Boss Area) or, if the group is favourable (preferably casters as you'll resist a lot of spells) then you can stand and nuke - Either way, you're probably going to have more success with a PvP based spec in PvE or PvP gear rather than otherwise.
