Its not very different, with the new 5.0 the only mods you can have are these. you can make your own, but in all honesty, the end result will always be this. This pre-made package goes as far as it can with the current patch, nothing more. No reason to make your own if this is what your going to get irregardless.

@djlaw56what no you could hotswap but you have to have the episodes from liberty city disk and flashed xboxes right now are unsafe anyway but either way u look at it you got to take apart your xbox and dont use these mods they are out of date and dont work but incase you dont have the episodes from liberty city disk try doing originial gta 4 mods just make sure they still work
