I know that he wanted to be killed off the show, but it was because they said they couldn't find a place for a midwife on the show. I don't believe that, because his place was really with Naomi, but they replace him with a dr that can't walk and so old guy that is dying. I really like the idea of him being in love with Naomi it was really cute. Too bad maybe he can have a twin brother named Mel. lol. if only.
