As a former National Express driver my PCV licence allowed me to drive a coach with a maximum weight of Eighteeen tons.

But sometimes you got a hostess like the song says "it is hard to get by when your arse is the size of a small country" which reduced the passenger numbers greatly.

Many a trip I done with 4 passengers and a larger than life hostess still within the legal weight.

Amand, this is the video I was trying to find on here.  I remember the original video it was set on a coach and followed the lyrics of the song but was only shown for about a week or two as the coach firm threatened legal action when it was bought to their attention so this version was made to avoid legal issues.

Quite the opposite. This was the original version but it was deemed by some UK broadcasters as being insulting to those with mental illnesses and refused to transmit it so another version (the more familiar one) was recorded.
