  • Thank you so much for sharing, I have so many crafts that I have do. So this will help me do this one better. I just need better ribbon.

  • just what I've been looking for!

I could not follow other tuts available, but here, though I'm left handed, I could follow the steps!

Thank you very much for sharing this!

  • beautiful!

  • how to attach the rose to the fabric for ribbon embroidery?

  • @solehah To secure the rose onto a design, dress, jersey etc. use a matching thread and tiny stitches along the base of the roses ,working inbetween the petals if necessary. Enjoy :))

  • Excellent! Thank you very much!

  • So very pretty!

  • Thanks,,,,,,

  • Just lovely. Must give this a go!

  • Thank you!!!

  • This is an excellent, clear and concise tutorial, and I've found it incredibly useful. Craft shops charge anything up to 40p per ribbon rose, and it's lovely to be able to make them yourself far cheaper.

Having tried both satin and organza ribbon, the satin is far easier to fold and sew. Thankyou so much for this!

  • Thank you so much I will try...

  • so gorgeous! you explain it incredibly clearly, every time i thought of a little question you were already beginning to answer it in the voice over, I can't wait to make these!

  • wow!!! im gonna try it! it looks easy and beutiful at the same time!

  • very very very very very beautifulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • BEEEEEEEautiful!

  • that is probably the clearest tut on hoe to make ribbon roses on youtube! thatnks ^_^

  • Roll, stitch, fold! Roll, stitch, fold!

I'll put them in my hair, I'll decorate my room, I'll give them to my friends. :D

    Thank you!!

  • Very clear tutorial. Can you give an indication of the amount of yards of ribbon to use for this rose?

  • We work with 1 metre or 1 yard lengths. A full metre or yard will make a nice large rose. For smaller roses and rosebuds, use a shorter length of ribbon.

  • easy to follow and it's fantastic..thanks for sharing
