  • i didnt understand a word you said...

    your speech is so slurred...

  • At least your mac picks up the internet..

  • My macbook pro 13 inch (Brand new, bought in August 2010,), The airport keeps Disconnecting, then when i put my password in it keeps timing out, so when i restart it, it says "no airport card installed" ,

then i shut it down, and restart it, then it works. for all of 20 mins give or take.

  • did u have to pay for the macbook pro that they givin u

  • After you got your computer back did your airport work correctly? I just took mine to the apple store for the same problem when they finished fixing it i went to pick it up from the apple store and as i started to open the internet it refused to connect and crashed completely giving me error messages so apple took it back again.. If it still has problems should i just get a new computer?

  • @ldsclarinetgirl Thanks for the comment, unfortuently i send mine back a total of 5 time for the air port, one for the mother board and one graphics issue. on the 7th return i told them i was not happy and managed to pursued them to give upgrade me to a higher spec brand new 13" MacBook pro (unboxing is on my channel) keep putting the pursuer on them and they will replace it at some point

  • @TheDarksinz well the apple care is good for a year but for phone support u only get 90 days i would recomend getting it if u havent cause u have a year after u purchase ur mac to get apple care. the total cost for my repair was 110.00 they will always help you fix it but if its after a year then you will get charged

  • ur password is wrong and take off the fake irish accent noob

  • do you have to use an apple router e.g airport express, or can you use a normal router e.g belkin? please help

  • update ur mac

  • you are having 1 or 2 of the following problems, one your mac book and airport card are overheating hence your laptop's fans are high reving for a long period of time the heat is causing the airport card to reboot itself contantly thats why after 10 secs of being off it worked also if there is a phone house phone around the house close to your macbook make sure it isnt 2.4 ghz also as they will cancel eachoter out and make the connection drop rapidly as the phone switched the encode with the bas

  • the thing is you are on the edge of you network, thats what connection time out meens, try disabling the password and it should work, the thing is that because you are on the edge so there are errors when your laptop is trying to connect, and if there are erros with the password the router will reject it, also check to see if you any phone that have a 2.4 ghz frequency they can interfere with wifi

  • lol you had an airport problem but you were still able to post it onto youtube. how?

  • I've had a similar problem. But what i do is turn airport off and on again and it somehow works

  • i am having the same problem on my macbook too. why isn't apple doing anything about it???

  • 2 suggestions.

Try adding the MAC address of you Mac (different mac's) to your wireless router settings. OR try using different types of connections. Maybe an open connection, or WEP, and make sure your router is set to a mixed mode, it could be because the macbook is only capatable with wireless g.

  • my mac losses its wireless connection then a couple of seconds latter it comes back anybody know why?

  • my mac is doing this and its really annoying how did u fix it???

  • apple have replaced the airport card and the mother/logic board, i have apple care so it was free

  • why dont you give up wiht apple and go to pc.

  • airport card problem maybe..reset ur mac..

  • What screen recording software do you use? and is it free? Thx

  • i use an application called screen-flow ! and no, it cost's $99, it is a high price, but a great app

  • @zacman0311 or you could get snow leopard for $30 and use quicktime x

  • help i intall a new ram in me ibook but now the airport do don+t detecting lan and another laptop detect red but no mi ibook and me ibook register the airport harware but don`t detec any wiffi signal

  • try a clean install of tiger or leopard ( what ever OS you are running) it should fix the problem, if not faulty RAM

  • thanks men but i using ibook g3 the problem started some days ago i have 640 ram but then just detected 128 and i removed and reistaling d the ram and besides i have a normal laptop and one ibook and some times i turn of the airport but now me laptop detectec wiffi signal but no me ibook and me ibook register the airport en harware

  • Gosh Ben that wallpaper is lurshhh!

Please don't tell me that that is built into Leopard. If it is, I'm missing out with Tiger BIG TIME...

If not, where can i get it?

    Tom

  • Use a Ethernet Cable, Least Your connection would not drop out

  • Check your wireless Router and see what happens

  • all ready done! it had nothing to do with the router, and once the antenna was replaced all is working well !

  • so far so good! in the white MacBook the antenna is right next to the fans and power button so i think it could have been an over heating issue, however it seems to work no! if you Macbook is still under a year old apple should pick it up ( from you ) and fix the problem for free ( under warranty) however they will not replace it even if it is under 1 year old !

  • i guess i am not the only one then ! lol if you have apple care give them a ring and they will get it fixed for you ( you will be a week with our Macbook, and it took them 3 attempts to try and fix it) otherwise book in at the genius bar at an local apple store ( and yes mine is still 2 hours away) they should be able to fix it in store if they have the parts. it is likely to be the antenna in the MacBook, which was replaced the final time !

    Hope this helps !

  • if you have ethernet make sure your airport is turned off ! otherwise the airport will still try to connect because it might be a higher priority.

  • Good luck with your MacBook's AirPort problem... I know I would definitely be pissed off if this happened to my Mac!

  • That is terrible! I had a similar problem when I first got my iMac the airport was just slow because I got internet in about 1o minutes.

  • Hey Ben

I'm really really sorry for you man. I know It's just computers, but this must be really really annoying. I hope you can get it sorted mate.

I have never seen anything like this and I'm afraid I don't have any knowledge on how the hell to sort this out. It's like, there's nothing left to try. Logic Board, AirPort Card and OS reinstall. Hmmm...

    Good luck,

    Tom

  • Hope it gets fixed....
