I was in the CFM around the same age you are now and pissed away my young adult life, listening to pastors that have no education or credentials, other than brown nosing their pastors. @MrBigBrock You show the contradiction of the Fellowship, in that you say your pastor encourages you to go to school, but all you care about is winning souls. I'm a part of a whole generation of young people that were robbed of our chance at education after High School, because our pastor told us going to school was a waste of time. Now many of us are in our 40s getting cought up on our education. Also, the CFM was founded because a wannabe pastor didn't want to take time for bible school.

Wow I can't believe I was raised in that "Fellowship" looking back now I really am thankfull I chose to leave at a young age. I was told that my life would be "cursed" and my endeavors would fail. Yea, just what a 17 year old needs to hear after choosing to serve his country by enlisting in the Marine Corps. Gotta say joining the Corps and leaving that crackpot group of people was the best choice I ever made. Besides even if their "God" was real, I'd still think him an asshole, a tyrannical one.

@valenciafamily I was in this church for 8 years. I gave up things I wanted to do with my life for them. In the end, I saw that they didn't care about truth, only about what's convenient for them. In one of these clips, I see Mitchell telling a reporter that no one is told what to do with their life. That's one lie of many! Pastors tell people how to live their lives all the time. Follow the evidence and the broken lives. The truth about them can't be hidden, if you look honestly.

Wayman mitchell is a mean old spiritual butcher. Back in 1989 I went to a Door meeting where he asked people to come up for prayer. A fat man went up to get his hurting leg healed. Wayman tore into him and made him pray a humiliating prayer for forgiveness for being a glutton. Wayman implied it was MY fault my luggage got lost on a long bus trip because I didnt serve the Lord enough. Well, buster, until you walk a mile in my worn-out work shoes on MY sore feet keep your big fat mough shut!
ok this is crap i truly am tired of seeing videos of ppl bash on the fellowship and most of all pastor Mitchell I myself am part of the fellowship nd the fellowship has helped me in times of need there is no cult just a bunch of ppl who want to see Heaven but it seems you all are bent up in bitterness of what happened while you were in the fellowship and to be honest you just need to let it go. if you were in the fellowship then you should kno about bitterness and how you WILL be judged for it.

Ive been attending the potter's house and i really dont know what in the heck you guys are talking about!? That's why you should read your bible and stay in prayer. What ever church you attend you shouldn't just take the pastors word for it. Compare what he says to the bible and if it doesn't line up then ask questions. If he doesn't want to answer you then get outta there. A cult is a group of people that tell you how to live your life. They have never done that to me or my family.
@kingchino16 I was in the Door / Potters House for eight years and wouldn't listen to anything but the good things about the church. It wasn't until my marriage fell apart and the pastor started taking part in helping my ex alienate my daughter from me, even helping her move to a church in another state without my knowledge. If that happened to you, it would change how you look at things.
I never took a shine to Mitchell . Something about him always appeared sleazy and false .I wish I had headed my inner perception all those years ago and walked out before he had damaged my life .
When I look back on my years in Potters House I realise they were the most unhappy times of my life . I used to wonder why I felt that way all the time . The day I finally broke free from Potters House was the day I got my life back .
The thing about the Potters House is that they prey on a particular type of person .It is very hard to explain to some one who has never been in a cult . Especially those of us who had always prided ourselves in making our own decisions .

@janneyisin Prejudice is based on preconceived notions. Most of us here that criticize the Door/Potters House, have spent quite a bit of time there. It seems to me that the pastors teach prejudice against unsaved family members and the world outside the CFM in general. Since I left, I found that the fear that had been instilled in me, about the world, was a lie. I also struggle with keeping a relationship with my daughter, who's a loyal CFM memeber. Tell me who's prejudiced?
I just had my first run-in with this church. I can honestly say they said the most outlandish scary things I've ever heard. They are DEFINIATELY a cult. I wish I had done more homework on this man and his church. At the time it was hard to find anything concrete. And now since I decided to not continue meeting them in my home (went to a saturday night concert and a wed night service) . Wish I saw this first..... Keep up telling the truth about these people. @sedjemayet I wish I had listened to the warnings of my parents and friends when I sarted going to the Door/Potters House. It would have saved me eight years I wasted there, plus the years spent getting my life back togehter, after I got out. At least I can use my experience to warn others to stay away and encourage current members to get out before something devastating happens to them. Unfortunately, like me, they won't listen until something terrible happens.

@sedjemayet You definitely did the right thing by making tracks and getting away from them. After what I went through, I lost all faith in religion. After 9/11 and all the focus on Islamic fanatics, just reenforced my belief. Muslim and Christian fanatics speak exactly the same language. They just switch the names of their gods and scriptures. They have the same hatred and intolerance to everybody else. "We're the ones who are right and everybody else is going to Hell!" I have no use for that.
@ekkertmal99 Understandable. I mostly was looking for a church for my daughter. She's 7 and has at least currently chosen to be Christian. I support her even though she believes different, even at such a young age. That's something I was never able to have as a choice growing up. And I whole heartedly agree about 9/11 fortifying fanatics in religions. It's useless for real life imo...except being a psychological comfort. Something I don't need either.
@sedjemayet I have three daughters myself. The oldest was born into the church during my first marriage and knows nothing else. It's disturbing hearing her refer to pastors she knows as heroes, while they teach her to alienate herself from her own father and sisters. My two younger ones were born after I got out and have never stepped foot in church. I don't need an institution to instill family values in my kids. It's obvious that the PH failed in that regard.

I ultimately agree with you though, she doesn't NEED it to learn proper behavior or family values. And while I don't want to hinder her search, I don't want ppl to influence her either. I know they would sadly. The experience I had, she witnessed as well, and it proved to be good for her to see the dark underbelly of a 'peaceful christ like' churches.
@sedjemayet For sure. They promise love and friendship, but it's not as sweet as it seems. When you mention the dark side of the church, they go into complete denial mode. It took me to see that dark side to wake up to reality. When I finally started seeing the world for myself, it was nothing like it had been portrayed to me. There were no people trying to rape me, shove a needle up my arm etc. All the bad things that were done to me, were done by so called 'christians.
@ekkertmal99 Which is kinda funny. I was raised Mormon and attended a UPC church for a couple years. Not downing anyone or their choices, but cultish behavior is obviously clear, in a broad sense. I am grateful I picked up on it fast this time.
@sedjemayet That's interesting. My first visit to the CFM was a Saturday night concert. I wound up wasting almost ten years of my life there, plus all the years getting my life back together after leaving. There are a million better ways to spend your time than going there. @donleeharper Why is it when someone criticizes the way the PH operates, they never address the problem. They just start accusing the critics of hatred and bitterness. People in the real world respond to criticism by correcting and improving the way they operate. They try to find solutions to the issues. The PH never admits to making mistakes in dealing with people. Instead, they blame it on the person on the other end. They must be backslidden or in rebellion. How does that solve problems?
@donleeharper There is a difference between speaking out about the truth (the truth hurts sometimes) and hatred. The bible is clear about the differences too, maybe you should familiarize yourself with it before you spew confusion.

The first time I got saved, I was in the United States and that didn't happen in the Potter's House but in a Presbyterian church. But I fell back into my old life and gave my life to Christ again three years ago in an evangelical church in Germany
@Shmanja: Apparently the CFM must be preaching a different message now than it used to. I was involved in CFM in the 80s and remember clearly being talked out of education, career plans, family relationships by my pastor. You say christians and the church isn't perfect. What do you say to us, the people that have been destroyed and left for dead by them? We're jus collateral damage of an imperfect church? You make excuses, but no attempt to right the wrongs done to people who trusted in you.
I am not making excuses, I am just saying what I am thinking and that IS what I am thinking. And I am not saying anything to you 'destroyed' people. I don't know you, I don't know what happened to you and I was probably still a toddler when you attended CFM. I can't 'right the wrongs' of anything that happened to you 25 years ago, I can just judge what I am seeing now and that's what I did in my previous post. @Shmanja: I don't know if CFM in Europe is more tolerant than in the States. I know how it operates here. I also know there are many people who joined in good faith and were violated by them, that are unable to put trust in any form of church because of experiences at CFM. I don't blame you at all, I have a daughter your age in CFM. She's tought outside family matter less than church family. You don't know what that's like, until you live it.

I lost all respect for christians that claim to live the word, but in reality use it to justify whatever they want. They judge people, while making excuses for their own imperfecions. After leaving, I found people that love because they want to, not because they're earning points to go to heaven.

You can say age doesn't matter, but what people have experienced in life does. I look at things a lot differently now, than I did when I was your age. If you base your life in the 'Rock of God', then why do you need the Fellowship?
Now I live in the Netherlands and I am attending The Door (Potter's House) and I can compare it to TWO other churches that I have attended for a longer time and actually a lot lot lot more because I have attended tons! CFM is not a cult; people are getting SAVED there and are building a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
@Shmanja: Do you remember Rudy Van Deerman? Wasn't he a leader in the Fellowship in the Netherlands? What happened to him? I hear he had a disagreement with His holiness, Mitchell. No room for discussion or dialogue in CFM. Obey your master pastor, or get out!
I am still a college student and I dont tithe every single time and I am still not cursed or expelled from church. I dont tithe because people force me to, I tithe because it written is in the bible! I also go to Germany regularly for a whole weekend to visit my family there and no one ever tells me to not go there any more because I am missing out on any services. I am not stupid, I perfectly know that the Fellowship is not the only way to god
JESUS is and every church that preaches the gospel can help people realize that. When you are sick, no one forces you to go to church despite of that, I was actually sick last weekend and a friend of mine told me rather stay at home and rest my body. I know a couple of backsliders and every time they came back to church they were treated with love and kindness!
As for authority have you ever read Under Cover by John Bevere?
He explains the principle of authority perfectly and uses many different bible verses which support all of his statements. I have read his book before I actually knew that the Potters House has the same views and totally agree with Bevere on everything he says! It is a great book oh and yea, the author has never been a member of CFM. I have watched a couple of the CFM bashing videos and I must say that if you take once sentence out of a sermon it is always taken out of context
Like when journalists interview some celebrity and leave half of the stuff he is saying out and totally twist the actual meaning. If you really want to know what CFM pastors are preaching go listen to a WHOLE sermon and not to some youtube compilation of Pastor Mitchell talking about boobs. Seriously, people, if you want to criticize do it smartly. I am not saying that the fellowship is perfect, every church has flaws, just like every person
But I love it there and I know I have found the right church for me. My German church (not a part of the fellowship) is also very involved in evangelization how do you want to reach people if you never talk to them about Jesus? Thats what the disciples did, too, after Jesuss death they went out and preached the gospel, talked to people. Jesus called us to be disciples so I dont see whats wrong with doing the exact same thing they did.
Well said. We used to defend the practices of our church and comfort our minds that our pastor was guided by god. If pastor steered us wrong, god would hold him accountable for screwing our lives up. Well, it doesn't work that way. We let someone ruin our lives, it's our fault. I'm just glad that I got out early enough to still get a chance to enjoy my life on my own terms. To find out that I'm a capable person, able to make good choices about how I live my life.
Honestly...when I was young, naive and in the fellowship, I use to admire Mitchell and saw him as a Celebrity. But As I've grown and seen him.I just see him as a regular old man caught up in a World of Religion and Rules that he created. Everyone caught in this web (mainly leaders and pastors) can tell you it ain't a pretty situation. But for the sake of the people who truly have a relationship with God and have had their lives turned around I hope this fellowship falls into better leadership.
The people I met in the Potter's House came into my life and helped me tremendously at a time when I was lost and desperately hooked on drugs and very depressed and a candidate for suicide. They introduced me to JESUS CHRIST and helped me discover a PERSONAL relationship with Him. . they also helped me become filled with GOD's Holy Spirit and helped me learn to pray in the Spirit, the most PRICELESS, WONDERFUL gift I have ever been given. Anyone insulting and demeaning this fellowship is MAD.
You said in the comment you removed, that we should leave the PH alone and let god judge them. Sorry, here in the real world, we confront those who do wrong when we see it! What would the world be like without Holocaust survivors speaking out? The Fellowship destroys many well meaning people, that fall for their promises. No one will know about it, if nobody speaks up! Have you heard some of the stories that people will tell you of their salvation through this Church?, My dad and family is one of the hundreds of salvations that come from God but through the Potters House. He was a drug addict, alcoholic, pornography addict, and then guess what, my family joined. Dad and mom saved, family came back together, and eventually my Dad was sent out to preach the gospel to anyone that will listen. Most of the stuff people say about the church are lies, they are angry

I came into that church because I had an amazingly life altering experience with God while praying and I wanted to be around people who had experienced the same. Altho it did me good to learn about God's word and still love the people there, after three years God had closed every door for me there and I knew I had to get out, there was no room for God's plan for my life in that church. So I left, even if it meant leaving my dear friends and relatives behind.
I was in the PH for 8 yrs. And I have been in assemblies of God, baptist, and some others since. ALL churches have flaws, ALL churches have IMPERFECT systems. The PH is a church with an IMPERFECT system and FLAWED human congregants, IT IS NOT AN EVIL CULT. We are ALL IMPERFECT humans with flaws. I f you think you are PERFECT, you are sadly mistaken.

Sigh, a bit simple to accuse someone of thinking they are perfect, because they see flaws in something, don't you think?
Maybe the PH doesn't plan to be an evil cult, but if they have people that follow their every word, they better BE CAREFUL of how to lead those people. I've been in several PH and have heard outrageous things in sermons and witnessed other disturbing events.
I haven't found a church more in sync with the raw teachings of Jesus than the PH. That aside: there is something wrong with the structure of that church. the people almost worshipping their pastor, the personal remarks during sermons, no room for questions (why did God create light on the 1st day and on the 4th day?), the subtle degrading of 'strays' etc etc. Oh, and if you're not able to bring new ppl in the church (altho you go on outreach) you're not fruitful something must be wrong with you
To tell the truth i thik some of you are missing the point. Salvation is about more then the church you go to or who your pastor is its about JESUS!! I see you're young and have only been in the PH for two years. Don't let the PH rob you of your future. Myself and too many people like me, were talked out of pursuing an education for the sake of god's will according to the PH. Now, in our 30s and 40s, we're picking up the pieces of our lives and catching up in the real world. That's not slander, that 's the truth.
Every thing pastor mitchel teaches is in my bible so you can call it what you want. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life/light salvation is about keeping ur eyes on him and truthfully nothing else matters.
I go to the potters house and have bin for the last 2yrs. the whole reason our fellowship exists is down to Parstor Michell's love for Gods people. No ones perfect people make mistakes some times but u have to learn how to forgive others the same way God has forgiven you. im not pretending to know what some of you have been though but i do know that if u gave it all to God all things would work out for good! I'm a lay preacher/evangelist and I was in the U.K fellowship for many years. To be fair to you I knew your pastor and his wife and many of the leaders. While there are good things I could say there are very serious problems. Mitchell is a very unethical man. 100's of of pastors have left this fellowship. There have been numerous splits and divisions and most churches wont work with churches outside the fellowship. I've found the fellowships view of other churches to be a series of half truths.
Three years is a short time, sometimes it takes a lot longer to see it for what it is. We speak against the Fellowship because of experiences we went through, not always by choice, but by circumstances that the pastors we trusted allowed to take place. You most likely won't see it until a similar trauma comes to your life. Then you'll see what we're talking about.
How about being conned out of everything you want to do with your life for the sake of what the PH claims is 'god's will' for your life. Which is basically, using you to exploit others for the Fellowship.

I'm a part of a whole generation of young people that were robbed of our chance at education after High School, because our pastor told us going to school was a waste of time. Wow I can't believe I was raised in that "Fellowship" looking back now I really am thankfull I chose to leave at a young age. I was told that my life would be "cursed" and my endeavors would fail. Yea, just what a 17 year old needs to hear after choosing to serve his country by enlisting in the Marine Corps. Gotta say joining the Corps and leaving that crackpot group of people was the best choice I ever made. Besides even if their "God" was real, I'd still think him an asshole, a tyrannical one.

@valenciafamily I was in this church for 8 years. I gave up things I wanted to do with my life for them. In the end, I saw that they didn't care about truth, only about what's convenient for them. In one of these clips, I see Mitchell telling a reporter that no one is told what to do with their life. That's one lie of many! Pastors tell people how to live their lives all the time. Follow the evidence and the broken lives. The truth about them can't be hidden, if you look honestly.

Wayman mitchell is a mean old spiritual butcher. Back in 1989 I went to a Door meeting where he asked people to come up for prayer. A fat man went up to get his hurting leg healed. Wayman tore into him and made him pray a humiliating prayer for forgiveness for being a glutton. Wayman implied it was MY fault my luggage got lost on a long bus trip because I didnt serve the Lord enough. Mockery is never good, but when these guys pervey 1 heresy after another in a completely shamless manner - maybe a little might be good for them - they dont respond to honest concern. The only thing they have going for them is altercalls & outreach/open air witnessing. If you know 0 & get saved at PH - stay 6mths (maybe) then for the sake of your spiritual health, study the Word for yourself & find a different place to fellowship. New Christian survival tip.

Ive been attending the potter's house and i really dont know what in the heck you guys are talking about!? That's why you should read your bible and stay in prayer. What ever church you attend you shouldn't just take the pastors word for it. Compare what he says to the bible and if it doesn't line up then ask questions. If he doesn't want to answer you then get outta there. A cult is a group of people that tell you how to live your life. They have never done that to me or my family.

It wasn't until my marriage fell apart and the pastor started taking part in helping my ex alienate my daughter from me, even helping her move to a church in another state without my knowledge. If that happened to you, it would change how you look at things.

When I look back on my years in Potters House I realise they were the most unhappy times of my life . I used to wonder why I felt that way all the time . The day I finally broke free from Potters House was the day I got my life back .
The thing about the Potters House is that they prey on a particular type of person .It is very hard to explain to some one who has never been in a cult . Especially those of us who had always prided ourselves in making our own decisions .

It seems to me that the pastors teach prejudice against unsaved family members and the world outside the CFM in general. Since I left, I found that the fear that had been instilled in me, about the world, was a lie. I also struggle with keeping a relationship with my daughter, who's a loyal CFM memeber. I just had my first run-in with this church. I can honestly say they said the most outlandish scary things I've ever heard. They are DEFINIATELY a cult. I wish I had done more homework on this man and his church. At the time it was hard to find anything concrete. And now since I decided to not continue meeting them in my home (went to a saturday night concert and a wed night service) . Wish I saw this first..... Keep up telling the truth about these people. @sedjemayet I wish I had listened to the warnings of my parents and friends when I sarted going to the Door/Potters House. It would have saved me eight years I wasted there, plus the years spent getting my life back togehter, after I got out. At least I can use my experience to warn others to stay away and encourage current members to get out before something devastating happens to them. Unfortunately, like me, they won't listen until something terrible happens.

After 9/11 and all the focus on Islamic fanatics, just reenforced my belief. Muslim and Christian fanatics speak exactly the same language. They just switch the names of their gods and scriptures. I support her even though she believes different, even at such a young age. That's something I was never able to have as a choice growing up. And I whole heartedly agree about 9/11 fortifying fanatics in religions. It's useless for real life imo...except being a psychological comfort. Something I don't need either.

It's disturbing hearing her refer to pastors she knows as heroes, while they teach her to alienate herself from her own father and sisters. My two younger ones were born after I got out and have never stepped foot in church. I don't need an institution to instill family values in my kids. It's obvious that the PH failed in that regard.

I ultimately agree with you though, she doesn't NEED it to learn proper behavior or family values. And while I don't want to hinder her search, I don't want ppl to influence her either. I know they would sadly. The experience I had, she witnessed as well, and it proved to be good for her to see the dark underbelly of a 'peaceful christ like' churches.

@sedjemayet For sure. They promise love and friendship, but it's not as sweet as it seems. When you mention the dark side of the church, they go into complete denial mode. It took me to see that dark side to wake up to reality. When I finally started seeing the world for myself, it was nothing like it had been portrayed to me. There were no people trying to rape me, shove a needle up my arm etc. All the bad things that were done to me, were done by so called 'christians.

I wound up wasting almost ten years of my life there, plus all the years getting my life back together after leaving. There are a million better ways to spend your time than going there. @donleeharper Why is it when someone criticizes the way the PH operates, they never address the problem. They just start accusing the critics of hatred and bitterness. People in the real world respond to criticism by correcting and improving the way they operate. They try to find solutions to the issues. The PH never admits to making mistakes in dealing with people. Instead, they blame it on the person on the other end. They must be backslidden or in rebellion. How does that solve problems?

The first time I got saved, I was in the United States and that didn't happen in the Potter's House but in a Presbyterian church. But I fell back into my old life and gave my life to Christ again three years ago in an evangelical church in Germany

@Shmanja: Apparently the CFM must be preaching a different message now than it used to. I was involved in CFM in the 80s and remember clearly being talked out of education, career plans, family relationships by my pastor. You say christians and the church isn't perfect. What do you say to us, the people that have been destroyed and left for dead by them? We're jus collateral damage of an imperfect church? You make excuses, but no attempt to right the wrongs done to people who trusted in you.

@Shmanja: I don't know if CFM in Europe is more tolerant than in the States. I know how it operates here. I also know there are many people who joined in good faith and were violated by them, that are unable to put trust in any form of church because of experiences at CFM. I don't blame you at all, I have a daughter your age in CFM. She's tought outside family matter less than church family. You don't know what that's like, until you live it.

Now I live in the Netherlands and I am attending The Door (Potter's House) and I can compare it to TWO other churches that I have attended for a longer time and actually a lot lot lot more because I have attended tons! CFM is not a cult; people are getting SAVED there and are building a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.

I am still a college student and I dont tithe every single time and I am still not cursed or expelled from church. I dont tithe because people force me to, I tithe because it written is in the bible! I also go to Germany regularly for a whole weekend to visit my family there and no one ever tells me to not go there any more because I am missing out on any services. I am not stupid, I perfectly know that the Fellowship is not the only way to god

JESUS is and every church that preaches the gospel can help people realize that. When you are sick, no one forces you to go to church despite of that, I was actually sick last weekend and a friend of mine told me rather stay at home and rest my body. I know a couple of backsliders and every time they came back to church they were treated with love and kindness!
As for authority have you ever read Under Cover by John Bevere?

He explains the principle of authority perfectly and uses many different bible verses which support all of his statements. I have read his book before I actually knew that the Potters House has the same views and totally agree with Bevere on everything he says! It is a great book oh and yea, the author has never been a member of CFM. But I love it there and I know I have found the right church for me. My German church (not a part of the fellowship) is also very involved in evangelization how do you want to reach people if you never talk to them about Jesus? Thats what the disciples did, too, after Jesuss death they went out and preached the gospel, talked to people. Jesus called us to be disciples so I dont see whats wrong with doing the exact same thing they did.

Well said. We used to defend the practices of our church and comfort our minds that our pastor was guided by god. If pastor steered us wrong, god would hold him accountable for screwing our lives up. Well, it doesn't work that way. We let someone ruin our lives, it's our fault. I'm just glad that I got out early enough to still get a chance to enjoy my life on my own terms. Honestly...when I was young, naive and in the fellowship, I use to admire Mitchell and saw him as a Celebrity. But As I've grown and seen him.I just see him as a regular old man caught up in a World of Religion and Rules that he created. Everyone caught in this web (mainly leaders and pastors) can tell you it ain't a pretty situation. But for the sake of the people who truly have a relationship with God and have had their lives turned around I hope this fellowship falls into better leadership.

The people I met in the Potter's House came into my life and helped me tremendously at a time when I was lost and desperately hooked on drugs and very depressed and a candidate for suicide. They introduced me to JESUS CHRIST and helped me discover a PERSONAL relationship with Him. . they also helped me become filled with GOD's Holy Spirit and helped me learn to pray in the Spirit, the most PRICELESS, WONDERFUL gift I have ever been given. Anyone insulting and demeaning this fellowship is MAD.

Have you heard some of the stories that people will tell you of their salvation through this Church?, My dad and family is one of the hundreds of salvations that come from God but through the Potters House. He was a drug addict, alcoholic, pornography addict, and then guess what, my family joined. Dad and mom saved, family came back together, and eventually my Dad was sent out to preach the gospel to anyone that will listen. I came into that church because I had an amazingly life altering experience with God while praying and I wanted to be around people who had experienced the same. Altho it did me good to learn about God's word and still love the people there, after three years God had closed every door for me there and I knew I had to get out, there was no room for God's plan for my life in that church. So I left, even if it meant leaving my dear friends and relatives behind.

I haven't found a church more in sync with the raw teachings of Jesus than the PH. That aside: there is something wrong with the structure of that church. the people almost worshipping their pastor, the personal remarks during sermons, no room for questions (why did God create light on the 1st day and on the 4th day?), the subtle degrading of 'strays' etc etc. Oh, and if you're not able to bring new ppl in the church (altho you go on outreach) you're not fruitful something must be wrong with you

I'm a lay preacher/evangelist and I was in the U.K fellowship for many years. To be fair to you I knew your pastor and his wife and many of the leaders. While there are good things I could say there are very serious problems. Mitchell is a very unethical man. 100's of of pastors have left this fellowship. There have been numerous splits and divisions and most churches wont work with churches outside the fellowship. I've found the fellowships view of other churches to be a series of half truths.

Three years is a short time, sometimes it takes a lot longer to see it for what it is. We speak against the Fellowship because of experiences we went through, not always by choice, but by circumstances that the pastors we trusted allowed to take place. You most likely won't see it until a similar trauma comes to your life. Then you'll see what we're talking about.

I really hope that one day you will see the truth. As much as Jesus is knocking on your poor little hearts you just keep pushing him away with all the lies that the world is feeding you. It's easier to not believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but it's so much to just believe it. All the facts and works are proof. "For on the last day many will be shouting 'Lord, Lord' and I shall say depart from me I never knew you" It's really gunna suck spending 0eternity in hell a very real places God Bless

Maybe Mitchell doesn't brainwash you directly, but he has had a big part in brainwashing your pastor, especially, when he goes to conference. Then your pastor turns around and brainwashes you.

There is no such thing as a house of God! This is just another statement from a christian who probably was never instructed in the truth and now is instructing people in the same incorrect manner which he was taught! Too bad Mitchell resorts to using his grand kids to stand up for him on Youtube. When that kid grows up, he'll find out that things don't always turn out the way the Fellowship leads us to believe.

Don't feel sorry for us. We realized the extent of our stupidity, letting ourselves be accountable to a used car salesman like Mitchell. We came to our senses and left. If he was a man of god, he wouldn't be lying on national TV. "We don't control anybody. We don't tell people what to do". Isn't that a blatant lie, my friend? If we're going to hell for telling the truth, Mitchell is already in line ahead of us for misrepresenting and twisting the gospel to suit his purpose.
