the problem with this box not is not only the service freezes and cuts in and out but the remote control does not operate or work as a normal functioning remote control. the display button is the one that turns off and on the box since the original power button doesnt work you have to press real hard for the buttons to respond since they updated their firmware its been a nightmare operating this box and the remote control.
1- I think that would a good opportunity for hundreds of people who live overseas to keep watching their favorite channels by this way but the company needs to spend more dollars to improve the box's system and their service in general. I think it is a good idea to provide upgrade for the system in the website so the people who who bought it, like me can improve it.
2- Improve the way of broadcasting these channels and keep it strong all the time.
4- Every one, especially for arabic people they'll embarrass with the number of the channels and they forget the price which I am sure that you will find it too expensive compared to the services provided after they purchase it. For me, I wouldn't pay more than 150 $ for six months subscription.
3- the system of the box is too old if you wanna compare it with other company's, you can't change the order of the channels, you can't get the full list of the channels most of time, and I don't know why they leave it like that. We are in the time that we concentrate on the speed in everything.
I am from Australia, have the fastest speed in my internet. I bought this box recently and will write down my opinion :
1- one of the good things in this box is the number of channels that you can watch, more than 260 arabic channels, that's too many.
2- I do agree with some people that the signals aren't strong all the time and most of time you will find many channels working and others not. Also I don't thing you are able to watch one channel for 30 min without freezing.
Be aware that they claim only 2Mbps requirement. We have 5Mbps unthrottled DSL. The picture randomly cuts out every 5 seconds. We never have issues with streaming from other sources. They claim it's "your ISP" (TekSavvy) but provide NO concrete explanation despite numerous emails & phone calls. Seem to work /w cable 15Mbps with 200+ GB/mo bandwith, but that's over 7x the speed they claim. Suggest you avoid until they resolve their client/server issues and improve customer service dramatically.
