It isn't about getting rid of anything modern, but about being sure we do not place those things before God. Indeed, these days, many do worship such things, or celebrities, etc. A video game is fine as something to do in free time, but if one plays all the time, neglecting other areas of their life, they are treating said game(s) as an idol(s).

So true. I don't think you are saying to get rid of these things, but not put them before God and not to make them important. As my Dad always said when preachers were trying to get them to "Break " their TV's, "It has a knob on it"! Church has even become an idol to many. It used to be to me! Good message! God Bless you.
