@honeybee7700@honeybee7700@honeybee7700 Thanks bee. Indeed HC's arrangement.--what a deeply talented dude, and underrated--simply had to shout out to one of my all time heroes. We actually sought out late Motown arranger David Van De Pitte to do the transcriptions for us, another amazing talent. This was one of the final jobs he did.
@robertmervak well you have a literally amazing voice and you can't miss HC's arrangement especially if you are a "harry met sally" fan such as I :) May David RIP. hope you come on tour to Vancouver, CA soon. I also hope you release "we'll meet again" from"The ides of march". I first heard Frank Sinatra sing it on the album "great songs from great britain" and of course vera lynn's version but your version reminded me of sinatra's but even more beautiful and heartbreaking.
@honeybee7700 Much thanks indeed! I read this last night, and for whatever reason--the fact that I've been sick the past couple days, the obvious honor in a comparison to Sinatra, or just the perceived sincerity of your comment, I honestly almost teared up. I don't always get that wishy washy, but thanks--it meant a lot, and was truly encouraging. I'll definitely keep you posted of any upcoming Vancouver gigs. You never know--especially since Vancouverans are clearly such astute music listeners
@robertmervak hope you feel better. Hell I'll come to Seattle for you, yes you are that good. Your music truly moves me. I'm glad you are a musician who appreciates their fans :) Please release "angel eyes" and "we'll meet again" asap!! :D:D

Saw Bob in the ides of march and had to find out who he was. He does a great job with Harry Connick Jr's arrangement.
