I'm set to get my braces off soon and I will be gettin one of those retainers also. =D but I wish I could see your teeth clearer with the retainer.
I only have on of those teeth missing, and I felt SO ugly. I am getting the same kind of retainer as you and I thought I was going to look ugly, and sick. But now I feel beautiful just by looking at you with the retainer in AND without. Thank you so much, I finally feel normal.

i got one missing tooth....but it was the buck tooth on the front.....and i got the fake teeth for it...but i can't speak properly...and i have to wait 7 year for the implant....i feel embarrassing

I have one of my upper front teeth missing- it got chipped so many times (8 or 9) and it ended up getting infected and basically died, so, I had a veneer type think put on it. And then that fell out, because my tooth was so weak it couldn't support it, so I have a fake tooth in, on a post, which is very obvious, and I, like you have to wait until I'm 18 to get it done properly so it's less conspicuous.

The same thing in my family, with the very same teeth missing. The two teeth that grew there were, of course, baby teeth that were as strong as cement! They had to be extracted. My father had the same problem, so did I, and two of my daughters (who look great today)...
That particular genetic thing runs in my family, too. We all either have implants or bonded teeth (just the two next to the front teeth and it looks completely fine. My youngest daughter didn't have her two baby teeth out until age 17. Just like me. She has had a couple of teeth bonded, and she is gorgeous! You are a pretty young lady, and you are brave to post it on YouTube.

i'm missing like, 14 teeth x) i aso have a retainer but it only fills up a few spaces, not all unfortunately. Also, my upper jaw is really narrow, so it all looks really tiny. and a gap between my front teeth (yay) sometimes people ask me about it, sometimes they laugh xD it's pretty embarassing. @cotey1234 That is exactly why I dont play baseball. I've seen a guy hit a ball and it bounce off the bat, hit him in the eye and cracked his skull. I cant even go to batting cages because of that. I dont know how anybody plays that sport.

My ex's teeth were all rotten on the top because of medication he had to take ruin them. And he just two years ago got all his front teeth drilled away and had fake teeth in. It was really funny because when we broke up he got them done and we still made out and his tooth fell into my mouth. xD I didn't think it was gross I just laughed and said. I had those for about 1 week until my dog decided to take them off my bedside table. I had lost my two front teeth in a bike accident...After that my dentist just made new ones out of plastic. They look real and they don't come out. I'm going today for my third set of them lol. I knocked them out again in a bmx accident the first time. This time they got cracked in a mosh pit and when i bit into a pizza crust later on, they just broke.
Exactly what I have, too... these two teeth just didn't form at all. I got implants at 18, that's 4 years ago now and they look and feel just like my own teeth. I had this kind of fake teeth for 5 years and I hated it, difficult to eat with and those people always commenting on it... happy end for me though. best wishes for your future and don't be afraid of the surgery, it's really not a big deal. :)
Hey! This is wicked, it makes me feel a lot better. I recently had one of my canines pulled, and I'm getting a partial denture. It's scary, because people are really cruel about teeth and stuff, and I was scared but this made me feel better. :D Thanks!

Good video i have the same problem after undergoing braces for 1.5 years i now have a retainer with fake teeth very similar to yours except its red :D... and it doesnt have any metal except on the sides to hold it in place on my upper jaw im 16 right now but im counting down the days til i can get my teeth implants, which i also have to wait til im 18 to get but my biggest fear currently is if my retainer broke : /

I went to the Dent the other day, and he said that i could get an implant at any time and im not to young (im 13) but he said we could wait till im 18 but we dont have to...
But i have a retainer with a fake tooth and i still have my braces ugh and its sooo awful it doesn't even look real! Theres a huge gap and everything and my orthodontist wont do anything about it! you retainer is great! your are soo lucky..=D

Hey my adult teeth (same ones as you) didn't form either, so I had a retainer just like yours. The dentist said I would have to wait to get implants until I was 18 so I got something else called a Maryland Bridge instead. Its a fake tooth with metal wings on each side that connect to the back of the surrounding tooth on each side of the gap. It didn't hurt at all to get and it was really easy. It is easy to eat with too.

That's strange that you need to wear the metal line (retainer?) across. I've had a flipper (two front teeth on top row) for 5 years and they don't have any metal across them.. look perfectly natural. Anyway, yeah you can eat with them, and sleep with them.. I only really take them out to clean. Also, you people who say that would be so depressing are pathetic. There are kids born without a working heart valve and u care about some fake teeth that nobody can even notice? lol.

i have a tongue thrust as well. it sucks. i'm supposed to do tongue exercises or something but i keep forgetting to and now i'm afraid to go back to my dentist cos i'm sure he'll know if i've been doing the tongue exercises or not.
I swear they were real..... that surgery is gonna hurt like hell, im gessing your going to be asleep while thats happening. also everytime i log in, you always release a video at that moment lol.

Hey! This is wicked, it makes me feel a lot better. I recently had one of my canines pulled, and I'm getting a partial denture. It's scary, because people are really cruel about teeth and stuff, and I was scared but this made me feel better. :D Thanks!

Funny thing happened to me tonight where I dropped my retainer and one of the teeth flew off. :/

ahhhhhh im gonna need some fake teeth i think...... too much coke/pepsi is not good for you health.. or your teeth for that matter :( oh well no sense in crying over spilled milk ... are you serious about them drilling into your jaw for the fake teeth ... i dont think im going to like it if thats the case

Good video i have the same problem after undergoing braces for 1.5 years i now have a retainer with fake teeth very similar to yours except its red :D... and it doesnt have any metal except on the sides to hold it in place on my upper jaw im 16 right now but im counting down the days til i can get my teeth implants, which i also have to wait til im 18 to get but my biggest fear currently is if my retainer broke : /

I went to the Dent the other day, and he said that i could get an implant at any time and im not to young (im 13) but he said we could wait till im 18 but we dont have to...
But i have a retainer with a fake tooth and i still have my braces ugh and its sooo awful it doesn't even look real! Theres a huge gap and everything and my orthodontist wont do anything about it! you retainer is great! your are soo lucky..=D

thank you so much for putting this up i feel so much better because i just got my retainer in today but it does not have the wires in the front. im also too scared for the implants... so im sticking with the bridge which i will get in about two weeks.

Like three people, including me are missing their top left incisers(sp?) on my cross country team. In fact, I had a lower incsiser extraction done on my lower left one... :/

Hey my adult teeth (same ones as you) didn't form either, so I had a retainer just like yours. The dentist said I would have to wait to get implants until I was 18 so I got something else called a Maryland Bridge instead. Its a fake tooth with metal wings on each side that connect to the back of the surrounding tooth on each side of the gap. It didn't hurt at all to get and it was really easy. It is easy to eat with too.

i got one of those too, but mine doesnt have the wire going across it and i am just wearing it until my gum heals so i can get the implant put in (and im 15) so i dont know why you have to be older? but i have a couple questions. do you take it out to clean it and eat?

That's strange that you need to wear the metal line (retainer?) across. I've had a flipper (two front teeth on top row) for 5 years and they don't have any metal across them.. look perfectly natural. Anyway, yeah you can eat with them, and sleep with them.. I only really take them out to clean. Also, you people who say that would be so depressing are pathetic. There are kids born without a working heart valve and u care about some fake teeth that nobody can even notice? lol.

im 23 and from being sick for 6 year not brushing well i have 4 fake teeth in the front and yea its more common then you think but many people in 20 have this surgey what do you think happend to those teenagers with bad teeth magicaly didnt get better when they where in there 20s

i have a tongue thrust as well. it sucks. i'm supposed to do tongue exercises or something but i keep forgetting to and now i'm afraid to go back to my dentist cos i'm sure he'll know if i've been doing the tongue exercises or not.
