Native American Music - "Dawn" by Thomas Walker

I had one of my subscribers ask me why my playing of the Native American flute and any others that he has heard sounds so sad. Does this sound sad? I said! It sounds beautiful and it makes me feel that everything is good. Relax and listen you will feel good.

Could I ask what type of flute this was used for this song? It doesn't sound like the garden variety end-blown Native American style flute - sounds more side or rim blown. Thanks!

i am native indian and so is my children but my husband isnt but he listens to our music and enjoys its it is something we are able to share with him and anyone that wants to enjoy but at the same time as it makes us happy it also makes us sad cause we have had to give so much up and very few still stand for our race
