  • Not yet a century ago the religiously deluded condemned masturbation, homosexuality, and other normal sexual behavior--for our own good, of course. In that light, any pronouncements on sexual behavior by religious fools lose their humor and must be taken with the grain of salt. Grow up, people! I'm ashamed of your childish ignorance.

  • How can a WOMAN (whether adultery or not) be in a leadership position within the church anyway ?

"I permit not the woman to teach or USURP authority over the man".

As ragards adultery ,has the church forgotten that God Himself commanded adultery wives to be stoned to DEATH ? To God this sin is particularly serious.

Now that women are not punished any longer ,they cheat and have affairs ,they divorce and remarry (adultery ) ,they do what they want.. What a SHAME on the church.

  • @framboise595 You can see the fingerprint of men authoring that bible only to claim that it is the words of god while granting themselves every right and freedom that they want. While the woman... Well, they're allowed to live, that's always something.

And when did men not cheat and have affairs or take out divorces ?, we're not penguins.

  • @Tyrfingr

God KNOWS what He does. He knows better than anyone that female adultery is highly destructive to family and society as a whole because with female sexual disorder FATHERHOOD is endangered.

God wanted for his people to repress debauchery and disorder so that men could have a true role and place as FATHERS. God civilizes and builds. ALL what he commands is good for mankind.

And God did not allow men everything : he hates when men repudiate their wives .

  • @framboise595 The bible always puts men on top of everything. You might think that as a man i would consider it to be fine but i don't. It's not in the nature for people to be commanded anything, but to take responsibility for ones actions, and avoid taking such actions that leads to bad consequences. If the bible had been a book that had not been claimed to be the words of a god. Not a person in the world would follow it. It's for intellectually lazy people who need instructions and guidance.

  • @framboise595 I think men and women have to be both pure and faithful to each other otherwise they lose their core of their relationship. True love is based on trust. How can I trust a man who has a relationship with other women? In my church they say the good understanding is that after marriage, the man's sexual organ belongs to his wife, and the wife's sexual organ belongs to her husband, they cannot share with others and violate their conjugal realtionship (centered on God and true love).

  • "Legalism" is the mantra of those who want continue doing whatever they want while lying to themselves that they are okay with God. Cheap grace....

  • "Legalism?! Inconceivable!" This guy's voice is so much like the short guy on the Princess Bride.

  • Great job for understanding what legalism is.Adultery being a sin isn't legalism.God's very clear about adultery being wrong.Legalism is being in bondage to dogma and legalistic rules such as no shopping on Sunday's,women can't wear pants, going grocery shopping on Sunday is a sin,you have to pray 5 times a day,you have to dress up for church, etc.

  • Love, people, love.

  • It's funny how everyone talks about the harms of adultery but no one points out the ills of willful ignorance and complete stupidity that are perpetuated by religion.

  • It is total hypocrisy by the woman, there is no doubt about that. But adultery is not a crime in the United States. We are not governed by "God's laws". To fire someone that has not committed a crime would be wrong.

  • @coonchrocket7 You can fire someone for picking their nose. It's called freedom of association. Read the constitution.

  • @RobertMOdell you can? Because I've read the Constitution and unless picking one's nose is against the job description, it is not an unconstitutional act

  • @coonchrocket7 Umm, we're talking about the church, not government. She can be fired for doing any thing the Bible condemns. Oh, and I think what RobertMOdell was saying is that, although it's not unconstitutional to pick your nose, it is also not uncostitutional to fire you for doing so.

  • @nikkicompanies how could you justify firing someone for picking their nose? You cannot just fire someone without grounds. And yes the woman is a hypocrite but one's private life should be kept out of work, unless they do something illegal. Last time I checked, adultery was not illegal.

  • @coonchrocket7 Oookkk, clash of opposite worldviews here. A leadership position at a church is not just work, a job from 9 to 5 to get paid. It is a moral responsibility to lead and help people in the ways of God and when they break such a huge moral boundary, they are no longer qualified for that role. Churches are different from businesses; the requirements for these serious roles are extremely high. It has nothing to do with government’s laws. Something can be immoral but still legal.

  • firing someone for adultery? Let's fire someone because they are black. Or better yet, because they are homosexual. I thought Christianity preached tolerance...

  • @coonchrocket7 Christianity teaches grace, not tolerance. It's like forgiving a pedophile but still not letting him near kids. In this case, the woman wasn't even repentent, how can she teach others in that state of mind? And how is adultery like being a different race? One is how God made someone, the other is a blatent disregard for His laws. How can someone be in a leadership role, teaching God's laws, and yet have such public disregard for said laws?

  • @nikkicompanies Not only should she have been kicked out of leadership, but she also should be kicked out of the church.

  • @RobertMOdell If she continued to be unrepentant and was disrupting the church, I would agree with you on kicking her out of the church. But if she was just unrepentant, I would disagree. Church is for anyone, all sinners, the repentant or unrepentant; it's suppose to be a welcome place to anyone. But there was no doubt that she should have been kicked out and barred from all leadership postions.

  • @nikkicompanies Church is a place for fellowship of the obedient saints of Christ. It is not the place where we woo people to come to Christ. We are to evangelize and bring people to Christ outside of Church. Then, Church is where we fellowship, grow, and serve each other. There is no room for disobedience in the Church.

  • Your are so right ! That is one of the TOP TEN!! ...so why only few churches keep Sabbath ? the # 4??? or am I being legalistic ? ARE TEN..no 9.

My respects for the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Messianic Congregations, Church of God Sabbath, Seventh day Baptist, Evangelical Seventh Day.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

  • wow the leaders of that church are almost as PHONY as the MORmONS / LDS INC out in Utah. They funded the 2002 Olympic bribery scandal, & then LDS Pres Gordon BS Hinckley wrote a book called "Standing for Something" , a lamentation about the lack of morality in modern society. MORmON = PHONY!

  • @settypatch there is no such thing as LDS INC that rules some secret corporation who funded the Olympics any more that the Catholics funded Olympics in Europe. Every one is human and makes mistakes, and everyone should still try their best to stand for something even when they are making mistakes. cut people some slack for making mistakes.

  • @teamroperx3 1st, LDS Inc IS the Church of JC of LDS. Read your BOM sometime ASSCLOWN, Including the 1st page. I can tell I am going to have to make a video on this. 2nd LDS Inc absolutely did give 2 million $ in cash to SLOC which was used to fund the 2002 Olympic bid bribe scandal. 3rd in a move that makes the Mafia look like gradeschoolers LDS Inc had a Fed case against dismissed by a dirty judge. Keep lying about it so I will get pissed enough to write a book about it. U MORmONS R LIARS!

  • @settypatch Wow. You hate that one church so much that you just posted a completely irrelevant comment to air your hate. This video has nothing to do with the Mormons. If you're commenting on phony leaders, let's go with the Pope helping to cover up pedophilia and abuse, and that "Daddy Grace" church who just channel their money to one person, and...the list goes on and on. Don't just aim your hate at one.

  • Yo' apparently doesn't reckanize th' destruckshun t'th' fambly an' th' harm t'kids cuzd by decriminalizin' adultery. Thet, in turn, prodooces dysfunckshunal chillun thet is mo'e prone t'problems th' nashun has t'deal wif. Adultery also an ack thet inflames citizens when it goes unpunished an' corntributes t'higher murder an' assault rates.

  • religion has dealt with the question of creating happiness for thousands of years now... too bad so many don't understand how efficient and smart the thing is in essence...

  • You're so right! It's not light fluffy stuff to betray your mate and your God.
