  • epic drummers hat

  • LOS ADORO NO PUEDEN SEER TAN BUENOS LA CONCHA DEL LORO ( pero el mas chico)

  • Kenny Wayne Shepard continuing Stevie Ray Vaughn Blues greatness.

  • for me, in this music feels like they're making sex to all of us ;)

  • aww i wanted to see him in santa rosa this summer. my horses wouldn't let me go. 3 horses vs. cute blond guitarist -hmmmmm. horseys win. thank God for youtube!!!!

  • Kenny Ray Vaughan

  • Can really hear the SRV influence, love it! :D

  • he plays so effortlessly!

  • He is about the only one that can do justice to SRV or JH

  • @purplelady325 right on

  • Is this not Pride and Joy???

  • @cofree22 just because its a blues shuffle, its dont mean that its pride and joy

  • SRV influenced, like a badd off spring child

  • Kenny Wayne Shepherd > Kenny Chesney

  • AWESOME CAT!!

  • I wish I had been there SO BAD!!! AHHHHH!!! I LOVE IT!!!

  • GREAT SONG!!!!!

  • I heard Kenny in 2000 for this first time...and was blown away that I had not heard of him before. Kenny you are most definately keeping the blues...you rock :)

  • This song is so much fun to drive on a pretty Memphis afternoon to

  • do any of you know anything about anything your always sayin i hate this or that or he is not as good as that one music has been around forever before you where born after you die people come & go music rocks on there is no one better than the next or the last just love what you love and let outhers do the same unless you have nothing better to do & thats ok all so stop beggin for thumbs up SRV was great KWS is great the blues where here frist than every one came after so peace from the 60s

  • One of the greatest guitarist and singers of all time.. whoever put dislike is obviously a guy who likes to be spanked by gorilla's and child molesters.

  • @dark2363 Hahahahahaha yes...

  • @Fishies125 Come On Missouri Let's hear It! We can Join In The More the Marrier!

  • @dark2363 Must Be a Hater!

  • Wow that was really good! I'm a big SRV guy and that reminded me so much of him. Does KWS have other bluesy stuff like this that any of you KWS fans can turn me on to? Email me if u can mmm10680@aol.com thanks

  • My favorite live performance of KWS......... along with the accoustic version of Blue on Black OF COURSE!!!

  • FOR ALL YOU OPINIONATED CLONES OUT THERE WHO PROBABLY DONT KNOW AN E MAJOR FROM AN E-FLAT; THERE WAS ONLY ONE SRV AND THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ,JUST LIKE JIMI, BUT REMEMBER STEVIES MOTO"" AS HE ONCE TOLD A BEGINNER GUITARIST, WHEN ASKED THE QUESTION, WHAT SHOULD I DO TO BECOME A BETTER PLAYER ;SRV REPLIED,"JUST PLAY FROM THE HEART", AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT K.W.S. IS DOIN SO ALL YOU BLUES FIDDLERS OUT THERE LIKE PETER GREEN - AND HOSS BARNETT FROM MISSISSIPPI MUDD KEEP DOIN, KEEP ON BLUES-IN

  • Damn, he is about as close as it gets to SRV's tone

  • I'm definitely in the minority group of people on here who just ain't buyin' it....this guy is an SRV clone minus the charisma and originality....if y'all want to hear a white boy NOT named SRV play some blues correctly with all the requisite fire, brimstone and authenticity, seek out some Peter Green....he shames this little vanilla copy-cat poseur...

  • I feel terrible for the bass and drum players for SRV and KWS.

  • Kenny Wayne....

  • corey sterling is a waaayyyy better singer than this doucher...sorry

  • Great!

  • Kenny rules!

  • Yessssss!!!!!!

  • Where is the awesome video "Slow Ride" ???? , the one with a "guitar" as a skate board ?????? if someone has it...put it on you tube...!!

  • So what if its obvious that Kenny is influenced by SRV? That's an excellent choice! Besides..EVERY time you turned around Stevie was covering a Jimi song!! Live on.. Kenny!

  • the singer doesnt have a feel for rhythm at all. he always claps and uses the tambourine too late. not on the 2. but kenny is cool as always

  • @fuelinject The video and audio are out of synch...as many clips are.

  • I LOVE THIS!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TALENT KENNY WAYNE!!!! I wish I could've been at this show...........

  • Awful sunglasses...

  • @JusticieroDeLaMuerte noo the look good ^^

  • @JusticieroDeLaMuerte Ha. Thats the first thing I thought of when I saw him come out.

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • slap a lil' stank on it !!!

  • One of the best KWS songs ever!

  • THANKS REBELLIOUSHUTTERITE2 ,i"ll try to get it. love it. do they have the live concert on dvd too ???

  • a monster no doubt. to be influenced is to to be human but find your own voice. stop stealing him blind. if he was alive you would have a law suit on your hands.

  • really good song, can i get it on cd with them ???

  • @HOUSExOFxLORDS This song is on the "Live on" album..

  • Nothing beats gritty/grimy Texas Blues-Rock!!!

  • no no no this is pride and Joy! Good guitar player but he is not influenced, he try to be be someone!

  • hey guys i love this kinda music can you give me some other good blues bands like this one? thanks

  • if you like KWS or SRV then you gotta check out the Matt O'Ree Band

  • If I click my heals three times, can I be there?!! I friggin LOVE this!

  • If you like KWS and SRV, check out Eric Tessmer Band, yup more Texans.

  • @jbcoker KWS is from Louisiana

  • Instead of singing, you could be like Jeff Beck and just play without a voice. That's tough though, You gotta improv out your ass and to come up with the kind of harmonies Beck does, it takes a musical genious

  • 10 TIMES BETTER THAN KENNY VOCALLY!

  • Oh my God ! I can't believe I've just randomly finally found his live clip right here, I was one of his fans so far, I like the way he does blues, I still have his CDs, but only have just 3 albums from his startin' work back then, he's still doin' the thing all great though, I assumed.

Thanks to the owner of the clip for postin' this.

  • love the guitar work by kenny but the singing is awfull i bought one of his albums got to track 6 turned it off i just cant hack this guys shit voice!!

  • HAHA... I dont think his voice is THAT bad. Although I prefer his original singer Corey Sterling that sang on the first album. Anyone know why he quit or got fired???

  • Stevie got influenced mainly by Hendrix and A. King. KWS picked up guitar after attending an SRV concert. Leave 'em alone, let the legacy grow. Let the music play, let the blues live.

  • @Texusify I agree. To say you were influenced by some one, I expect to hear the influence come out through their music. Nothing wrong with that. SRV took a lot of blues guys styles and licks and wove them all together into his own interpretation of the blues and was not afraid to let his influences be known. The icing on the cake is that he got to play with a lot of his blues idols during his short career. what a life!

  • @Texusify I picked up my heart off the ground today and I'm about to spill it out vocally, KWS, SRV, Joe Cocker, Buddy Guy... So many inspirations that I'm about to break this chair. Never mind it I'm just gonna get up and dance! Love what you just said!

  • @Texusify whos knockin him? he rocks!

  • KWS is the best.... but he's the biggest case of an early wadshooter.... Ledbetter heights was their best album, with the best singer, and the best licks.... all original, no covers, and no undertones of SRV that I could hear anyways.... but I'll never turn down any of his music.... ever.

  • Love this man! And for them who says he copies Stive Ray Vaughan... Everybody gets thier inspiration from somebody and SRV is a hell of a man... Kenny takes it a bit further than SRV, a bit more rock n roll... I love him!

  • Kenny will never been GREAT until he developes HIS OWN STYLE.....for example...TOMMY BOLIN....he must stop copying The great Stevie Ray....he wont get anywhere doing what he is doing now. Dont get me wrong he is a fine guitar player....but that about it...nothing special.

    I Love Texas blues too.

  • FUNNY YOU SAY THAT because SRV ALTHOUGH HE WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAV. very rarely did his own tunes!

  • KWS is WAY beyond good and time and history will bare that out.

  • texas blues is the best blues

  • Great song....Kenny is great but he needs to stop copying Stevie Ray.....he is a great guitar player though...excellent tune.

Yea...it has a little pride and joy in it...think your right Klueder. There is a difference but you can tell Kenny loves Stevie Ray style....

Trower did it with hendrix however Robin developed his own STYLE ...thats what made him so great.

  • i would have said the same but he is pretty good and has achieved an awfull lot. he comes across as very cocky but sure he is successfull so i suppose he has the right.

  • hearing srv knockoffs is usually annoying. unless its kws. he can do it all day long. the public needs it. its like a drug.

  • @wmc1103 There is no knockoffs in blues, it's all the same progression with different chords. Every Blues musician has their own style. that's the only thing to differentiate them.

  • @yahdstickman i agree and dont. the chords are pretty much the same, its what they do IN BETWEEN that separates them. and when someone goes as far as to copy srv's "in between" its usually lame. not that kws always does that, but when he does its awesome. btw, this songs structure is close to "pride and joy".

  • @wmc1103 True, I hear a little in that. It's always good to see the legacy continued!

  • That drummer's playing has it goin' on.

  • Sounds a lot like Pride and Joy.

  • its just that whole texas blues thing. trust me i can play it and there are a lot of differences between this and pride and joy

  • no surprise i mean its REALLY obvious that SVR was kenny waynes major influence during this time. Granted he also has a lot of louisiana blues influences as well... but sometimes it just feels like hes trying to be svr. Hes definitely good though

  • If he's here to fill a void, may the world get more voids filled like this!! He plays because he loves it, and I LOVE IT TOO!!

    Thanks for this Kenny.....

  • I'm sorry :(

  • one of my favorite blues songs

  • Hot video! Thank you bluesintherockies for Noah's info!

  • I looked it up and it seems it was written by Shepherd and his regular vocalist Noah Hunt.

  • and for those that dont know, that is noah hunt singin in the video.

  • it was written by lightning hopkins in the 50s

  • It's not the same song or anywhere near it after you get past the title. bluesintherockies is correct.

  • this is one of my favorite songs by KWS but did he write it???
