Just watched this film today and I have to say it is excellent. Their are many good things I could say about it but perhaps the most impressive thing about it in my opinion is how you used music so effectively throughout the film, it added an extra layer of emotion to the film and made it richer, I think this is something that has been sorely laking in Brickfilms in general. Well done mate!

My only complaint about this whole film was the fact that it turned from a pirate action film to a very sad movie.

that was the saddest movie ever! first there's a forbidden relationship between the main character and his wife, then his wife gets killed, then the main character's daughter gets kidnapped, then the main character's best friend dies, then the main character dies and there's a sad little scene where he says his last words and the daughter figures out that the admiral is her grand father. that scene is like poetry.

Has anyone who commented made a brick film before? I have. They are very, very hard to make. The ones I make have badly done dialogue and are only up to 3 minutes. To get 3 minutes you have to take more than 2000 pictures. I really don't think anyone fully understands how much effort went in to this movie. The whole thing is more than 30 minutes. Cannedgravy, I don't have the faintest idea how you made this so good. Good enough, so people wept after watching. For this I salute you. 300/5
