Matter of fact, in 1960 Mississipi and Alabama had their representatives in the Electoral college vote for self proclaimed segregation backing candidates namely Harry Byrd and Thurmond.
In 1968, all sense of shame went out the window as most Southen states voted for George Wallace (Independent) who of course openly supported segregation.
Richard Nixon(Republican) made gains in the South via the Southern strategy.

Robertson did NOT found the movement, nor was ever a leader. The movement initiated w/FedUpUSA that began its protests in 2008 most particularly w/TARP in Oct. Other groups also formed and the TEA Party was born, not from racism, but from protests against lunatic spending in DC. This is research. You may want to try it.

@DarkstarNV BTW, 650,000+ Blacks from Africa migrated voluntarily to America is the last 15 years. They are grateful & wonderful people. Did you know "race car" spelled backwards still spells race car?
The word "eat" is the only word that, if you take the 1st letter and move it to the last, spells its past tense – ate?
And if you rearrange the letters in "Tea Party Republicans" and add just a few more letters, it spells: "Shut-up, you free-loading, progress-blocking, benefit-grabbing, homophobic, resource-sucking, racist, hypocritical jerks, and face the fact that you capsized the country under Bush"?
How weird is that?
