@Hutch2504 I love slayer but metallica has certian melodys to there riffs that people remember and Kirk Hammett invented his own style of playing which is why his solos are so unique, which is why I enjoy metallicas music more than slayers. Metallica is also more famous because lets be honest... the only kind of people that can really enjoy slayers music is people like us, metal heads. In metallicas case everyone can enjoy there music because of its memorability and how catchy there songs are.
