Does anyone know of a pro bono lawyer in Austin Texas i won custody of my son but his mother is still calling me 5 times a day calls cps shes always attacking my wife at work via her employers i need help
Im going through a tough time. im a single dad in maine. I have an almost 5 year old son. My sons mother abandoned him almost 2 years ago. Im in shock how a parent can just vanish from a childs life. and not just that, she owes almost 9 grand in back support. I get so mad because DHS knows where she works and she had been served a year and half ago. and im still waiting for them to garnish wages! if it was a male they would be in jail by the 1st month after non payment.

Well the system is so bias im left with no choice but to give her visitations because if I go to court I may lose my son all together. So I will have the papers drafted stating I am domicile parent. I know what your going through and there is nothing easy about it.

My ex wife was arrested for not paying child support and spent a total of 9 minutes in custody then the judge oredered her to be released. I wish the law makers in this country would level the playing field. Women are always screaming about equality, except when responsibility is involved.
As a custodial father of abondon children (girls); I Watched as a bias system extend all effort to make their mother a victim during the divorce process. Had her new relationship worked out chances are we would never see her again. Since it did not the lure of CS an Alimony was the other option. In short: lawyers made 30K in this court aided effort and gave me no backing at all.
Six years later she has paid $0 in child support.
you are an exceptional man!!! I would be grateful for any help I get from my ex but I do not!! He can keep his money if he would spend some time with his son. You are not alone and it is not just women!! I am owed $17,000.00 and have not seen a penny, and he is only ordered to pay $65.00 a week. I feel for you! I am one of the fathers going after the sytem to do their work and make her pay. So far she hasn't paid until recently when she finally went to jail after failing to pay a court ordered purge. And while the percentage of mothers not paying is much higher than the fathers who do npot pay, it is the whole support system that is at fault for them not paying. All a woman has to do is get pregnant and all the laws go out the window including the Constitution of the US.
I think this is because of the feminist groups who probably play a part in the U.S. Legislation in one way or another (i.e.: sponsoring canidates that will judge the way they want them to, pushing bills that give women the upperhand). You don't see men doing something like that.
@Butch4750 and ya know i am a woman and a mother and this is only fair! I mean that woman should be just as responsible as the men pregnant or not. and if she's an rn she can find a job! sorry that's not a good enough excuse for me pregnant or not. throw them in jail. just like you do with men!
The law Should hold women acountable for paying child support. Us fathers get put on a criminal list women should too.. I am planing on holding the mother of my child accountable no excuses!! The justice system needs a serious face lift..
Wow...so I'm not alone. My ex ran off with a guy she met on the internets and married him. She has paid me a whopping $400 in over a year. I have our 3 kids on my own. She doesn't even call or contact them.
