@pablogrifter You're right that it's similar, but this definitely sounds like Eastern European, not African-American, music, so, no, it would sound out of place at Mardi Gras.
@victormz22 The similarities between this and Mexican Banda music is that they both use the instruments of band music. If you draw this parallel it's like saying jarocho, classical guitar, and folk music are all the same because they all play on strings.
went to brooklyn last year and just happened to catch these guys at Barbez, i'll never forget it. i got to get these guys a show in the Lehigh Valley area
