  • that soundtrack never gets old

  • Anyone remember Ecto Cooler? That stuff was the shit!

  • @dynomitis since The Hub is a channel by Discovery Communications and Hasbro airing only Men in Black the Series (Sony Pictures Television), Batman Beyond (Warner Bros. Television Animation), Jem & The Holograms (Claster Television), Goosebumps (Scholastic Productions), Family Game Night (Hasbro Studios), Scrabble (Hasbro Studios), The Game of Life (Hasbro Studios), The Wonder Years (Warner Bros. Television) and Pictureka (Hasbro Studios).

  • I wish that the HUB would bring Slimer & the Real Ghostbusters back instead of airing Atomic Betty on fridays.

  • 0:00 to 0:10 - haters gonna hate

  • i saw zuul and vince clortho in that

  • EVERYBODY LEAVE SLIMER ALONE! I LOVE SLIMER!

  • SLIMER! reminds me of my nephew.

  • just hearing the sound of the proton packs turn on and then firing equals EPIC WIN!!

  • Wait... I saw this! I saw this on my grand mother's VHS! Holy shit!

I have seen the version 1 and compare to the version 1 and this... I think this one is more badass. Whos with me? Disagree or agree... doesn't hurt me! :D

  • I remember watching The Real Ghostbusters and I remember the transition to Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters. My favorite was the one that contained "Sticky Business"! I also liked "The Halloween Door".

I also remember when Louis joined the team, I thought it was Ray with glasses. LOL Ghostbusters forever!

  • What the hell was that? A Big Wheel? The ghost walk was waaaayyyyy better in the original Ghostbusters cartoon.

  • And me! And me! That was too cute

  • Slimer was the Jar Jar Binks of Ghostbusters. Yes, I said it.

  • @strikerk The difference is Slimer's more likable, and less racist.

  • @strikerk SLIMER MADE THAT SHOW......it was winston.......THATS RIGHT WINSTON

  • @strikerk I would almost agree with you, other than the fact that there were some cases where slimer actually was essential. Jar Jar brought nothing but blabbering...

  • @strikerk 14 people like it !

  • @strikerk That was an insult, at least Slimer goes back to the beginning. Jar Jar wasn't in the original trilogy. They are completely different.

  • @badbook1 I liked Slimer in the first season, but when they did this kiddier version of Slimer in the later seasons, he almost ruined the show for me to be honest. It was so unnecesary. All just to create levity? The writing did that already. It clashed with the cool darkness I enjoyed about the first season.

  • @badbook1 I agree which is why i never watched the slimer segments of the show. The animation for those were bad. But, saying slimer and jar jar are the same is just plain wrong. Jar Jar is the worse character ever invented. Slimer was done wrong at the end, but don't forget before that he was done right. Jar Jar was never right, and we hated him from the first moment he was on the screen.

  • @strikerk no way.

  • the best.. slimer

  • I love Slimer! He's a funny little guy!

  • I always hated "Slimer and The Real Ghost Busters" the original "The Real Ghost Busters" was always better.

  • @DiggumSmack77 What was the difference besides slimer?

  • @demo2382 The difference was that Slimer was the main character while the ghost busters were more like his backup. That was his show. It wasn't as serious as "The Real Ghost Busters". It seemed a bit silly. Just my opinion.

  • @DiggumSmack77 I see... Havent watched them both since I was a kid and i totally forgot.

  • @DiggumSmack77: But it was the SAME show. Slimer was just the "pet" and break-out star. Even in the films that the cartoon was based on, that was the case. Even the 2-pack DVD of both films has two episodes of the animated show and in one--straight AFTER their battle with Gozer in flashback--Slimer essentially is quoted as "the ghostbuster of ghostbusters", no thanks to Peter basically making the little spud a star, thus jump-starting his ascent to superstardom.

  • Diggum: Really, it's not any different than the Filmation Ghostbusters--who predated the "real" ones, actually--having a gorilla on their team!

  • @DiggumSmack77

Yeah. The show did sort of go downhill at this point with the new voices and everything, but this show had it's moments as well.

  • these always make me cringe even as a kid i hated this shit the movies are so much beter.

  • @gondule Retarded. These cartoons were great.

  • @ma7799: Dave Coulier started voicing Peter in the '87 network season.

  • @cybertronization i never did figutre out why that was, cause i remember the guy who voiced peter, trhink it was oscar music, wass voicing pete4r originally, so why did he stop?

  • @InflatableKMH correction mate is was lorenzo music aka garfield

passed away after the season was over so they got dave couiler aka uncle joey on full

    house fill in his shoes

  • @tiga92001 Ahh, ok, Lorenzo music. My bad. I had no idea he had passed away, I had always thought he stopped doing it because doing the voice for peter in the real ghostbusters and the voice for garfield was hurting hius voice.

  • I remember watching this on Saturday mornings in 1988. I preferred the first two seasons though, since those episodes were more intense and Lorenzo Music did the voice for Peter! From this season on, he was voiced by Uncle Joey!

  • I saw the Boogeyman and Samhein in the opening!!!

  • I see one of the two ghost dogs from the first movie

  • @plantguy9 00:50 There's also Hob Anagarik, "The first demon" o.O

  • The theme seemed a bit slower.
